Care & Hope Ministry distributes generous boxes of food monthly to over 500 families who have qualified based on their limited income. Care & Hope Ministry is supported by the Morehouse Baptist Association and other area churches through regular financial gifts, volunteer services and by donating items for the thrift store or food items for the food pantry. We also serve families in crisis through referrals from local churches, businesses or civic organizations by giving food and clothing/household goods to help them through their crisis. Meeting needs of hurting people in our community
Our ministry would not be possible without the generous donations of caring individuals in our community. We resell clothing, furniture and household goods. The revenue from the sales allows us to purchase food for distribution to those in need as well as provide free clothing and household goods to persons in crisis. We distribute approximately 18,000-22,000 lbs. of food each month to qualified recipients. We serve our community as a Red Cross referral partner for victims of house fires and other tragedies.
