CareNow Urgent Care - Frisco West

The receptionist n nurses n Dr all were phenomenal. I threw up in the sink and tried cleaning it up n the dr said dont worry n nurse said that's our job. What great happy n helpful staff. I am feeling so awful n they made it less stressful and w diagnosis n having epilepsy it was so important to have that service

Pathetic services!!! Since last 3-3.5 hours i am waiting for the doctor to come and see me. Checked In around 9:30AM and even after 12PM noon, the doctor did not come to see. Please change your name from Urgent Care to “Slow care”. If the owner of this facility is reading this then i request you to please have some mercy on patients and improve the services as its not just about making profits from a business, but providing good services is equally important!! medical field is a noble profession where the patients are not suffering due to high wait times in urgent cares!! Maybe these guys have leas doctors!!

Staff are very helpful and polite! Dr. Hester is very good, I appreciate that he took the time to talk to me and help me out instead just write me a script and a doctor's note and send me on my way like other doctor's have done. Highly recommend!

Making a clinic appointment was so easy. We were able to complete all information on line in advance. You get a text message when it is your turn- making it easy to wait comfortably at your house. The staff there is very friendly and have a great bed side manor Jessica was awesome. I completely recommend going to this location for any medial needs, especially on a weekend.

The doctor had to cut into my heel for a suspected splinter/bump and totally did not follow sterile practices at all. Came in, put gloves on, then touched all over the cabinets and drawers to get materials out then started opening sterile packaging without changing gloves and touched everything. Never saw him wash his hands or anything either. When I took the bandage off later, I found that he did not cut the part that was raised/hurt, but right next to it. Missed the spot I was talking about completely. Called today to address the issues and was told he was not in today and would call me tomorrow to discuss. Will post update.

I had a work injury which I requested to go to CareNow. I did a web-check in at 3:30. The clinic called me immediately and asked about the injury and said they would contact me when they were ready. I arrived 20 minutes after they texted they were ready for me. When I got to the counter I told the lady at the desktop name. She then rolled her eyes and let out a sye then reached over got some papers and handed them to me to fill out. I filled out the first page and was called back by the nurse as I started the second. The nurse pointed me to room 1 and then asked me to sit on the table. She took my vitals. I told her I was sorry for coming in so late but I was concerned about my knee and going back to work. I said I know you really want to go home. She said very dry yep. Then she said I would need now need to wait for the doctor so he can figure out what he wants to do with you. Then she left. As I started to fill out the second page and I could see several more pages I understood why the woman rolled her eyes. She would have to fill in all these answers into the computer. I grabbed the papers and walked out of the room looking at the lady behind the desk and the nurse coming out of another room and said Sorry I won’t waste your time. And I left. I felt like a burden and not like a patient. I know we all feel drained but as I got to my car I saw another couple walk out which had just walked into the lobby as I was exiting. Maybe the clinic needs more people.

This facility and all the staff members are very well behaved and make our work very easy. The doctor also explained the problem very well and given right direction and recommendations. I love this place. Will come to this place again and again if needed.

My daughter was in this morning, can’t say enough about how great the entire staff was! This location is everything you want in an urgent care center from the front desk, to the triage to the physician! Highly recommend!

Dr Hester and his team do NOTHING but make you feel comfortable, and explain the far reaching implications of the treatment plan. He's among the most thoughtful, thorough physicians I've ever seen. The web check in is also a gamechanger for convenience. It's so much better to rest at home before coming in, than to have to sit in the waiting room for a while.

I went for what I thought was a head cold and it turned out to be allergies. The people were so nice and the physicians assistant was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and listened. I really appreciated the quick wait time too. I highly recommend this place.
