Most nursing programs require CNA Certification as a prerequisite for program admission. CNA’s work in hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies and doctors offices. This is a great way to get a steady, good paying job in a growing field.
We offer both day and evening classes. Classes are approximately 5 weeks long and run continuously through the year. Classes are held at our education center and clinical’s are at local nursing homes.
Cost of the class is $975, and a payment plan is available for tuition. Tuition includes book, fingerprint background check for the healthcare worker, CPR certification and registration/fees for Illinois State board test for Certified Nursing Assistant.
Admission requirements include minimum age of 16 and a valid Social Security Number. We require results of background check, physical, and 2 step TB skin test before clinical starts (need to have done by 2nd week of class). These forms will be provided to you at the time you complete your application.
To register for our class stop at our office to fill out an application. Down payment of $325 is due with application to guarantee a spot in the class.
Our payment plan will start when the class starts, and is very strict. The 2nd Friday of class, the first installment of $325 is due. On the 4th Friday of class, the final installment of $325 is due.
Orientation will last approximately 4 hours, and take place the week before class starts. The specific date and time will be provided to you upon registration.
