Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, founded more than 100 years ago, is based on a long tradition of caring, compassion and service to our families.

Located in the eastern section of Orlando, Florida, our facilities are spacious and warm, offering comfortable visitation suites, a large chapel, and a Celebration of Life room that provides a place for families to gather with friends to celebrate the life of their loved one. We offer a variety of services including refreshments during visitations, full-meal receptions and theme decorating to enhance the celebration.

Lovely facility. Chapel is charming. Not too big and not too small. And the Fellowship room is beautiful when it is all set up. Having a kitchen and sink right there really helped. All the staff have been very helpful and caring. Pre-planning really made things much easier when the time came.
Losing someone you love no matter the age, will affect your life in so many ways. The folks at Carey-Hand are truly caring folks. They will help you with all your needs no matter how prepared you are for the loss of your loved one. There are many details to consider and having them there to help you through the details while you are beginning the grieving process is truly a blessing. They continue to be there afterward with things you may have not considered. They understand the many different emotions and stages you are going through and are willing to help. We used Carey-Hand because they were there for my Aunt and cousins when we lost my Uncle a few years ago. Kelly P. became part of our family as she helped us plan for my Mom. Those same cousins were with me at our initial meeting. Her boss wanted to know if we were having a party when he heard the laughter. We certainly were as we planned a celebration of Mom's life!! She was an incredible woman of faith and Kelly enjoyed listening to the memories and making suggestions and answering our many questions as she got to know Mom through our reminiscing. We are grateful to all the folks at CH for caring and helping us plan for Moms final journey. I truly hope when God takes me home that they will handle my final trip. Cheers from Joyce!!
Carey Hand was very helpful right down to the last detail. They went beyond the call of duty and made sure that my Father was dressed appropriately in his beautiful Air Force blues. They also scheduled the Full Honors Salute at the cemmetery. My father was treated with honor. Respect and dignity. I couldn't have asked for a better memorial for my Father.
Kelley P. and her staff were very kind and helpful throughout the entire process and we had a lovely and professional funeral for our much loved family member.
Guy Dalton, the owner and funeral director, took wonderful care of us throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough about his attention to detail, and more than thorough follow up. It's not too often these days that you meet someone who genuinely cares about giving outstanding customer service, but Guy does! We had our celebration of life at my mom's home, which was wonderful, and Guy even called that evening, just to check in on how everything went, even though he wasn't directly involved in it. He just cares. Great job Guy, and thank you from our entire family. God Bless.
Mr. Guy Dalton is genuinely caring and compassionate. He walked us through every detail of the process and made follow up calls to ensure there were no loose ends, everything was handled with the upmost professionalism. You could see the care that went into preparing my father and how natural he looked. My family and I are eternally grateful.
