Wonderful shop with variety in collection of pets like Aquarium fishes, Exotic pets like Phython, Scorpion, Spider, Lizards etc.. tropical sea fishes, tortoises, parakeets, cocktails, macaw, hamster, bunny, bettas, dog and cat accessories, food varieties of all pets, aquarium tanks and decorations. I went to buy a betta fish. The store person really care about customers and their pets. They are not minded on money or business. They give care for pets a lot. They give suggestions good. Please do visit this shop. I will surely visit again.
Nelly was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about rabbits and assisted my daughter and I in picking out her bunny and all the accessories. A rewarding shopping experience!
I lvoe the Caribbean pets store and the lady that attends the front desk is very cool and friendly. They have a variety of exotic animals but mostly fish of fresh and salt water. If you're around the area I highly recommend that you guys go.
Around my town we only have chain pet shops like PetCo and PetSmart, so that was the sort of treatment I was used to for pet animals. When I had bought parakeets from these stores in the past, we were often given animals that were hurt or infected in some way and it was very depressing. I came to Caribbean Pets this summer to buy a baby lutino lovebird. I had called the store several times before to inquire about the baby before going and the staff was always polite and answered all of my questions. My family was impressed with how the store was with its birds; all of the parakeets, cockatiels, and lovebirds were bright and healthy and we were told a vet comes frequently to check on them. We also saw bunnies and a ferret in the store that were very lively and healthy looking, not at all like the animals I would see in the chain stores. Aside from having the lovebirds, the store also had supplies for bird care, including more specialized seed mixes, cages, and formula for hand feeding. The prices on the cages were more than reasonable, we got a big ol' cage for our baby. Two months later and our bird is still healthy and growing every day! A big thank you to Caribbean Pets, especially Lilly and Noel, who I can tell really care about their animals and were so helpful in helping us find a new fluffy friend.
Lily was very sweet. She helped me pick out a fish and educated me on all of the things I needed to purchase. She even engaged in my small talk lol. Great customer service. Would’ve gave 5 stars but the store looks a bit outdated.
Glad its there. Gabby is great. The fish guy and groomer are nice and patient. Other times clerks are handling too much by themselves and I dont have the patience on top of some overpriced items. I often use Amazon instead. One more person wld improve it a lot. Update: Had to go back for help with my fish...they really tried to gibe me their attention and expertise. They are growing on me.
Very friendly service when it came to obtaining my fish for my water tank. They have a variety of freshwater fishes and saltwater as well. Fishes different sizes and great variety. Looking foward to returning to them in the future.
Bunnies males and females are kept in a small cage which could result in breeding which can further result in more bunnies which then eventually get dumped and added to shelters. To further the issue, the bunnies are kept with absolutely 0 access to hay 24/7. Bunnies need constant access to hay as their GI system is very delicate. Lack of hay can cause GI stasis, and without immediate treatment, can result in death. Bunnies hide their illness very well and so it’s terrible that these bunnies do not have access to hay, a must-have staple in their diet. This was made aware to the pet store yet access to hay was not provided even after further inspection. Terrible. Poor bunnies.
I got some fish from them. They are pretty but little bit over price. The place got old and empty when I go visit for the second time. Lots empty tank sitting in the store which make it look like it is going to close soon.
I come here for all my pet needs. I have multiple fish tanks so i visit this place often. Extremely friendly staff, equipped supplies and fishes. The cost is pretty reasonable. They help and guide you for all your needs and concerns. The variety of fishes they have is pretty good.
