Trying to get basic information about a family member and no one can help me. No one ever took any of my information but have been told to wait until they contact me. They cannot contact me if no information was taken. Cannot even be transferred to facility to speak with someone because idk what side they are on. How can I tell you what side they are on if nobody will give me information. Really concerned about the professionalism and the care my family will receive. Seems they are more worried about collecting a paycheck than actually helping people.
This facility changed my sons life. He was finally properly diagnosed and the staff was so kind. They communicated with me as well and kept me well informed of his progress. Dr. Hama rain and Lisa were amazing during his stay.
Timely and helful
My experience was so bad, I wasn't suicidal when I went in but I was when I came out! I wish I had made a complaint but it took me a long time just to recover from the experience. The doctor I had was incredibly degrading and treated me like garbage stuck to her shoe. I saw her treat everyone else that way, too. But the facilities are nice.
My mother was diagnosed at this hospital for a urinary tract infection this morning. This evening she got sick and passed out. She was very pale, had cold sweats, was confused and was slurring her words some. We rushed her to the E.R. where she was admitted fairly quickly, hooked up to monitors etc. After that initial tending-to though, we were promptly ignored for hours. They did nothing to treat her extreme nausea and sharp pains in her side, although I asked often for something to help her discomfort. Pressing the nurse button did not even get a nurse to come in; they asked over the intercom how they could help. When I told them she was STILL nauseous, and her IV which they didn't put in until we'd been there about 4 1/2 hours and was only a saline drip was pretty painful, they said okay they'd come in....which they never did. Most of the nurses were just standing around the station chatting. It looked to me there was only one doctor on duty and one medical student. After 6 hours of laying in the bed, one xray and one stress test, they finally told us around 1 AM that all her tests came back negative and they didn't know what was wrong. I will NEVER, EVER go back to this hospital. This is the second extremely unpleasant experience I've had there. The doctors and nurses flatly refuse to give any kind of medications. It does not matter how much pain you're in. They will not help. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN.
The place is not NICE. The staff is rude. ONE LADY MADE IT CLEAR SHE KNEW I HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE DUH !! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO " HELP NON-JUDGEMENTAL. THEY DESERVE A BIG FAT 0 !! MOST EMPLOYEES BARELY SPOKE TO ME. SO I HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE ?? THEY GOT PAID FOR IT --- AND I SUFFERED 4 DAYS. ANY IDIOT KNOWS 4 DAYS IS NOT ENOUGH TO RECOVER.
Great staff and nice facilities. Carillon has done a nice job with their mental health places. Only complaint would be the food.
My fiance was just discharged from St Albans and he came out worse than what he went in there! He was so drowsy and tired because of the medication they had given him while there and i strongly recommend for noone to go there for treatment because hes no better.
I like St A, the staff is very nice to me when I go they have worked with me on appts and even called to see if I was okay if I missed a appointment, the Dr I had was okay but didn't always listen but other wise it's a good place. .Sorry some of.you all had issues..
Staff was generally nice when I went and food was really good I very much miss the food, four stars because I am mentally ill
