We had so much fun here! It's like a small town bowling alley that you can barely find anymore. Nice, big, clean facility with lots of good food! We'll be back soon!
Great place to spend some time. Nice house with well kept and managed lanes. Very clean and overall great experience. Enjoyed bowling in the tournament and will definitely bowl there again.
I wish there was an easy way to remind other bowlers about bowling etiquette. While we were bowling on lane 9 there was a party of about 10 kids and adults on 7&8 and they ALL stood on the lane while people were bowling. Staff ignored my request to have them stay seated unless it was their turn to bowl.
I have no idea what happened in the last 6 months! Big changes have come to 4th St Bowl! First, you must decide how many games to play and pay before you play. The next issue we had was the equipment. Lane 4 was whack! Pins were falling randomly, had to have the pin setter reset 4 times in 3 games. Third, the lounge was closed and doors locked! My friend asked for a receipt and he was told the item he bought was his receipt. There was no music playing. And they closed at 11. All of this screams new owner or business closing... I hope not... I've certainly seen better days there.
This place rocks!! Bowling, pool, and a small arcade all in a pleasant atmosphere, where youcan get pub food and kid and adult beverages. Supporter of many great organizations, bowling tournaments and a fantastic staff. Great prices for all they have. If you're planning a birthday party or event this will keep everyone entertained!!
I've been coming here for years and in its heyday it was a lot of fun. However the years have taken its toll on this place. There needs to be several updates done to get it back to its glory days but it really still is a lot of fun bowling and letting the kids run around playing videogames. If the owners could get this place renovated and bring it back, then 5 stars all day.
This is a fun place to bring the family. It's fun for them and for you bosting a big Arcade area, Bar, and around 40 bowling lanes. Just don't leave your table for anything these snobby Joplin people will come move your stuff to a different table and steal your spot or worse.
Bowling was great. Date night going swell till I ate the nachos and lost them less than 10 minutes. "I guess the cheese was bad" not an ounce of compassion, but I was granted a cup of water after asking
Way too EXPENSIVE!! Not only that, the equipment is from the Stone Age and extremely dirty. I will never go here again.
The customer service here is horrendous. My sister in law spoke to Amber on the phone to see about reserving some lanes. Amber proceeded to rudely tell her that it’s based on a first come first serve and then hung up on my sister in law. The front desk staff is also very rude. Maybe teach your staff customer service.
