Met up here for a Doc Wong riding clinic. My first one. I grew up in San Carlos, when we were little, most of early bicycle rides were to this shopping center were for candy. Later for Pizza, and when older, for nice dinners. Its a great little community shopping center.
Nice little shopping center at the intersection of Ralston & Alameda in Belmont. There’s a grocery store, several restaurants, a wonderful garden shop, and a couple boutiques. We love visiting the Ladera Garden & Gifts shop there.
A good selection of stores that provide all the basic necessities. Lunardis Tavern Sushi Kuu Coyote Mexican Tavern Carlmont Nursey United Studio for Self Defense Jamba Juice

Stopped for bagels and noticed a lot of nice shops. Bagel shop is wonderful.
Carlmont Village Shopping Plaza is in the middle of Belmont and serves most of the community's needs from groceries, eateries, hardware, Baskin and Robbins, etc. Plus it's right across the street from a Catholic Church.
Lunardi's has the Best meat and vegetables Belmont Bikes is Awesome!!! Ace Rock's
Been shopping here 20+ years. An absolutely amazing staff and meat/fish department! Staff is super competent, helpful, and friendly. More than two people in any line, and they open another register. Meat is properly cut and trimmed, not just hacked apart. When I get home I can use it as is, no need to spend 15 minutes cleaning up badly trimmed pieces. Fantastic food and other products, and the prices are great.
First time here just for ice cream. Not impressed with the interior, it needs a really thorough cleaning especially during Covid. Nothing there seemed like it had been recently "scrubbed" clean. Table was a bit sticky and they have so many eclectic items hanging all over the ceiling and walls that were just gathering gross dust. Will not be back.
Love all the small businesses here. Especially Ladera's and Waterdog. There's always ample parking somewhere and the area is well kept. It's definitely a community spot since you'll find lots of school kids and families walking around after 2pm.
