* Dr. Richard Carlson has been a trusted name in dental excellence in the Jacksonville area for over 25 years. He is a gentle, caring dentist who prides himself in keeping current with the most recent studies of not just what is new in dentistry, but rather the most predictable and long-lasting techniques and materials for lifelike results.
He is one of only 10% of all dentists nationwide to complete a rigorous hospital-based General Practice Residency Program. He also taught at the University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program here in Jacksonville for the last 7 years. He lectured on various advanced topics such as cosmetic dentistry and complicated treatment planning. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient.
