Dr. Carlyle and his staff are absolutely wonderful! The office is beautiful, clean & plays the best music! As a new patient they worked me into the schedule right away so they could help alleviate my pain as quickly as possible! The staff is very friendly and comforting! Some dental offices will try to embarrass you or shame you if you have a problem, but here there is no judgement and they make you feel cared for & offer accommodation for those who struggle with dental anxiety or fear of treatment. Dr. Carlyle is brilliant and very skilled at his craft! They put the time in to find a solution for your medical and cosmetic needs and truly care about your overall health! They are truly dedicated to restoring your beautiful smile at a fair cost with or without insurance! I would highly recommend them!

After having several bad experiences with dental care I neglected my teeth for many years. I resulted to tooth extraction whenever. After being diagnosed with periodontal disease it was time for help. I decided on Sr Carlyle because he extracted my son’s wisdom teeth all four at once. My son came home as if he had just had a regular cleaning. The work Dr Carlyle performed on me was extremely extensive. I did conscious sedation - I was petrified. They held my hand every step of the way and did not make me feel bad at all. I am extremely grateful to Dr C and his team. I am still crying every time I look in the mirror. Woukd never do business anywhere that could care less about your issue and only what insurance you have as to put you off for over a yr bc they aren't taking that particular insurance right now. However would see me in the next few days otherwise. How can a place accept your insurance but then say well it will be a yr ok that one. So very sad!

I've been going to this clinic for nearly 9 years. I have always been pleased with the administrative staff, the hygienists, and the dental care I've gotten from Dr. Carlyle. I recently moved to another town and went to a different dentist, who complimented the good dental work I've had. The next time I was due for a checkup, I returned to Dr. Carlyle's office, even though it is a good distance from home.

I highly reccomend Dr. Carlyle! By far the best dentist in the area. He genuinely cares for his patients and takes the time to get to know them. Ive been hurt by a few dentists and was so afraid to let another dentist work on my teeth. Dr Carlyle went out of his way to make sure i was as comfortable and as pain free as possible. I now LOVE going to the dentist.

I have been working at Carlyle Dental for over twenty-five years. I have very much confidence in the way that Dr. Carlyle and Dr. McIver treat their patients. I have referred my family and my friends knowing that they always get the very best treatment possible. The doctors are very passionate in what they do, and deliver great care to young and old alike with compassion. Our office provides a wide array of dental services - implants, Invisalign, periodontics, endodontics, dentures, veneers, Zoom, bleaching - we do it all!

I don’t know how this establishment has positive reviews. It must have made some drastic changes since I’ve last visited. Unprofessional, rude, and insulting are the best words that I could find to describe Dr. Carlyle’s attitude when communicating to be about the condition of my oral health. I would not visit this office again if it was free. Although a small town, Kinston has other dentists that are sensitive to the needs of patients and will not insult them.

Family member went to get 4 wisdom teeth out and they did not prescribe him any pain medication. I personally know how bad it hurts getting not just one but 4 removed all at once and not prescribing him any pain medication was absolutely absurd. He was informed before the removals if he was in any more pain to call, which he did and they informed him they could not give him anything stronger. Knowing the circumstances and how bad the pain can be, they should have informed him he couldn’t get anything stronger instead of allowing him to assume otherwise. 1/10
