This theater like the mall it’s attached to is dated. Despite being dated it’s clean and doesn’t smell funny. You can tell they take pride in their theater. Because the theater is dated the chairs don’t recline. They are still nice chairs- no rips or tears, and they comfortable. One thing I like about the older chairs is being able to lift the arm rest and lean in on our dates. The picture on the screen was crisp. That lets me know they’ve taken care of their equipment it takes to show a movie. Another thing I saw that I hadn’t seen in a while was booster seats for the kids. There is ample entry and exit points into the building. You won’t walk far to get inside regardless of where. The employees were friendly. When in the area and wanting to see a movie we’d visit here again.
After a sweltering day on the beach the four of us decided to check out Oppenheimer movie. Didn’t start out well. When I presented my pre-paid order for 4 tickets, the reader wouldn’t process them! We discovered I had looked up times and picked 4 seats for the 1:00 PM showing. But when I flipped to the App for purchase, it brought up my home AMC with same time! Too late to really do anything else I purchased 4 tickets and popcorn and would go for refund later. We found seats, really open seating since only 10 people there. We were disappointed that this theater has not updated the seats to new recliner seats as our home theater had. The temperature was great. I usually bring my light jacket to keep warm. Also the sound was pretty loud, so much so my friend didn’t have to wear his hearing aids. Nicely appointed interior and great popcorn.
Mall is dead but the theater is alive and well. Scored a lot of brownie points getting my wife Taylor Swift Eras tour movie tickets. Great concert from beginning to end.
I don't see what the complaints are about. There was no smell. The seats were comfortable and looked newish. It was clean. This was in theater 9. Food at any theater is expensive. Liked that they had the Coke machines where you pick what you want.
The people were very humble and very friendly. The theater was big, and u were able to hear the movie. The price of admission was very reasonable, not too high, like NYC. IT'S JUST MY OPINION.
Only went because it was a last minute idea. Next time we will wait and got to Coastal Mall. Not impressed all around. Stinks and is very out dated.
Nasty hot theater, smells like mildew/mold. The gigantic hole in ceiling probably the culprit. Staff could care less about appearance or customer experience.
Went to this theater for National Theater Day. I was honestly surprised they weren't more busy. But then I saw how dirty the place was. The ladies restroom only had 1 sink working and trash all over the floor. We were in theater #3 and we could see scratches on the screen. And then to top it all off, the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there or help anyone except the 2 ladies behind concessions. The young blonde guy in concessions was rude and short with us. I guess now it makes sense why they weren't more busy on $4 ticket day.
Haven't been yet but upset nonetheless. My husband and I are seniors and I was pleased to see that they have senior rates. So I decided I would purchase tickets online. NOT. They charge you a "convenience fee" of more than 4 dollars. Well, there goes our senior discount!! Convenience for what?? I'd like to know. So I thought I would call them to talk with someone and perhaps purchase a ticket over the phone. That didn't work either cause noone there answers the phone. Can't speak to a person. They suggest apps, online, blah, blah, blah. That didn't work. Now will have to go to the theater and hope I can actually purchase a ticket the old fashioned way, in person.
It was fine, can't complain about the AMC club matinee price for sure. Sound could definitely be better and it was a few degrees too warm in theatre 1 to be comfortable for me I'm 170 lbs and like it cool FWIW. I realize this property is older and it's July, HVAC equipment was probably working hard as it could. Like every cinema I've ever been to that's not just recently opened this one could use a deep cleaning. The young man who scanned my phone was having trouble with his device and was apologetic, very friendly and helpful.
