This theatre use to be popular back in the early 2000s. Jam packed on the weekends. Now it’s a chill spot, almost like a ghost town. Good place to come if you want less crowd or the whole place to yourself. Seats are old school and kinda hard.
This theater clearly feels like it's on the way out. I walked in, and there's only one person at the snack counter to purchase my ticket from. This was not a problem, except all he said was, "It's the theater on the right." So I turned down the right hall, to look at the marquis above the theater doors and really none of the theaters had names above them. I walked down trying to find where my movie was, and realized I was in the shadows. No problem, I'll look at my ticket. I tried to find a light bright enough to look at it and could not find one. I went back up to the lobby where there was light, and still could not find which theater it told me it was in. I asked him again, which one? He says, "You see the restrooms? It's the theater to the right." Even that theater, didn't have any movie names above it. There was nothing blocking me from going down those hallways, and it gave me a very odd feeling. The movie itself was fine, but the theater itself was not good. I only want here because the movie I wanted was playing earlier in the day. All other movies I would recommend going to one of the theaters with recliners.
Took two others with me to Tuesday bargain day, noon 3+hrs. movie matinee with unlimited pop and popcorn refills !, which is a special through the 15th of this month Jan. '23. Less than a dozen people there. I don't mind the basic seating at these costs total of $43, which included one pair of 3-D glasses--I only had 2 on me for this first-run, 3-D movie. No frills and more than enough working comodes, which is no small thing after free refills of pop! Conveniently located across from the mall and lots of good eats nearby.
This theatre is a little dated but the prices are the best in the area and the screens and sound are still solid. Definitely should download the app so you can get points for concessions
This. Place. Freaked. Me. Out. It was dark, and the one person running it wasn't very helpful. He sold me my ticket, and told me it's to the right. I want wandering down the hall to the right, and none of the theaters seemed to be working. I tried to use the light from one of the overhead lights to read the ticket, but it did not have a theater number on it. I always went back out to the Moon counter and asked which theater it really was, and he pointed at the one nearest, that was on the right. It feels like this theater is on its way out.
Spacious clean theatre and it wasn't too busy. I like the Coke machine and all of the options. Top Gun Maverick was awesome! You need to see it in the theaters.
Great staff and prices as it do expensive to watch films these days. Buy the annual movie bucket and save money all year with your A List Membership and your all set. Inlobe this place.
I'm almost hesitant to write a review for this place because I love how quiet and private it is. This is an older theater and the seats aren't what some would consider the next level of chairs, they are decent and not leather or reclining but are in good shape and comfortable. Most of the times when we go to see a movie we are the only ones in the theater or one of a few couples. They are almost never packed and on Tuesday's if you are an AMC member you can get discount tickets all day for 7.50 each. Even un-discounted the cost is under 11 bucks. This is a hidden gem for the price you pay.
Would rate 0 if possible. There policies have changed go to Fairchild as AMC is horrible anymore used to visit often weekly had AMC A list and all for years. But I have seen their stocks plumit their fans dye out and parking lot getting more and more dead by the day. Our friends have also stopped coming here and I've sold my 4k in stocks will invest somewhere else since they are a waste. Beware any movie if you are 20 or 25 or even 50 R rated they will ID despite in the past it was a good experience I could go in and pay for 4 tickets and off I go. They are unclean things are falling apet, popcorn and candy all over the seats, soda was flat and all their prices have gone up by $2 give or take. Do not waste your time or money here go to Fairchild on Queensgate. To add to all that during one of my horror movies here they let a maybe 3yr old in that cried the whole day movie and would not refund it. So keep in mind they will let in a 3yr old who will ruin your whole movie and cry or not but they won't let a teen in. Pretty funny.. Do yourself a favor save about 5 to 20 $ and go to Fairchild I got 2 large popcorn 4 large drinks and 4 tickets with no hassle or fuss no annoying ID and absolutely amazing customers service. Awesome people over there truly do care about their customer satisfaction.
Love being able to go to the movie and have pop and popcorn too! So reasonable
