Kind of old, and a bit rundown. The seats were some of the most uncomfortable my buttocks has ever encountered. It was clean enough, and the movie looked and sounded good. The employees were polite. Three movie itself started 27 minutes after the posted time because if plethora of ads. Is go back, but I'll bring a seat cushion
The place needs to be rebuilt. Total garbage dump! And my keychain Bluetooth speaker is louder than the theater audio… experience was terrible. I’ll drive 40 minutes to go somewhere else from now on. I’m going to go home and shower now. Pretty sure they have fleas or bugs here.
On Friday, my boyfriend, his son and I went to see John Wick 4 for the 12:30pm showing. We bought our tickets around 12:15, got our snacks and drinks then walked all the way to our theater room room 4. Not only did the hallway smell like sewage from the bathrooms down the hall at the corner but inside the theater had an odd smell to it. It had sort of a musty kind of smell. I look to my left to see a whole section of seats blocked off with caution tape due to the big whole in the ceiling from pieces of the ceiling falling in. I'm assuming water damage. Not only did it smell but it was almost unbearably cold in there as if there was no heat on at all. Anyone who walked in there seemed to comment on it and wondered why that room wasn't closed to showings till it was fixed. Based on a post from a month ago, I see the issue has yet to be addresses and you are still allowing people in that room regardless even though it appeared whole has gotten worse. I watched multiple people get up and leave due to it.
This theater is filthy! Literally has a hole in the ceiling with a trash can below. Caution tape strewn across the chairs. The floor is filthy. The customer service is seriously lacking when we went to the counter the 5 associates literally argued with each other over who was going to run the register. Will not be visiting AMC again. Better theater chains with clean amenities and excellent customer service are out there.
Run down theater. Overpriced concessions and ticket prices. $4 online convenience fee! Tons of ads and previews. Sound was way too loud. Dirty theater and the the theater room smelled bad. Will most likely not be returning.
Ticket price was great but it was $60 for two REGULAR popcorn the smallest size they have and three regular drinks! And halfway through our movie, the rain gutter right outside the emergency exit of our theatre started pouring water into the theatre down at the front. It was incredibly distracting and we had to leave our movie to go get someone who worked there. It definitely felt like the roof was going to cave in at any moment.
Good theater, but place would be very nice if it was kept up better...
Coming here brings back memories. I like my local Theatre. Not far from home and convenient location with all the restaurants around it but man they need to upgrade them seats! If you're watching a 2 - 3 hour movie your butt and your back start hurting.
This is not about a movie but rather the place. And like other AMC's facilities - fairly awful. Tried to make a reservation on line. Found the website and procedure awkward and confusing and the system refused to accept the name of the theatre - even though I included the ZIP code - only when it was EXACTLY matching the formal name. Parking lot dreadful - looks deserted. Lobby designed to push sales of food and drink. Theatre COLD - Sound LOUD - and the film advertised to begin at 12:50 did not start until 1:20+, yes over 30 minutes of MORE ads and previews - which were playing when you entered. It's an older theatre - older seats, not the more modern comfortable ones. Tjhe film was ok but the experience of this theatre - flashback to the 1960's only with 50+ years of wear and tear. Worth driving to go somewhere else.
Nothing wrong with the theater or the setup. Theaters were smaller, yet still fairly big. You can buy tickets online, although you can't pick your seats. You CAN order soda, popcorn, etc online, which is helpful. I think I got spoiled by certain theaters that have the larger, reclining seats... Aside from not having the "superstars", this place was fine...
