Understaffed on Black Friday. Overpriced popcorn combo. I only wanted a small popcorn and no drink. They were forcing me to do a combo which included a drink. I only wanted to drink water. It was going to cost me more than $10. I cancelled my order. The movie, Harriet, was powerful! I give the movie 10 stars!
Arrive early. It always takes forever to get through the ticket/concession line. We went on a Tuesday night and waited twenty minutes. The AC is loud in the theaters, the floors are sticky, and some of the screens have imperfections. But the staff is friendly and always offering the chance to double butter your popcorn. This theater is pretty on par with the Mt Zion one, though I think this one is more busy. It looked like they're renovating, so hopefully the movie experience is better soon.
Me and my family went to see the nun they it on there website that is starts at 8:20 weeks go to see it when we get in there the movie almost over so we had to wait 20-48 minutes they need to post the right time.
It's not so much that I dislike the place. It's just that I have had one too many bad experiences than I would have liked. One visit, the butter for popcorn was extremely old... Causing sickness right before going out to eat for my wedding anniversary. On top of that they didn't turn on the air conditioning all of this was in July of 2016. Well 2017 visit anniversary went thru with no problems. But 2018, the movie stopped before it was schedule to come on and we even stayed there 10 minutes listening to elevator music before returning to lobby to get told that they knew of this problem happening a few times before. What? They knew and still didn't physically check to make sure that we didn't waste our time sitting? Needless to say, got to dinner reservations late.... That is my reason for 2 stars. But not everyone experience is like mine, so you grade them based on what you like.
Really nice young women at concession stand. Signed me up for savings on my movies. They were so helpful and the place was very crowed. I love the machines to pick the drinks I wanted and there was a lot of variety. Bathroom was clean and no smells of bad ordors throughout the theater. They do a good job.
I only gave this theater one star because I could not give it a zero. This theater is not sanitary or safe. Went to see The Giver a couple months ago and will never go back to this place. There were HUGE HOLES IN THE CEILING! Looks like it could have been due to water damage because there was many other discolored large spots on the ceiling. I was very concerned it was going to collapsed. I cannot fathom why they would continue to use this theater when it appeared this way. Is this not considered a safety violation?? The seats also felt greasy like someone took the popcorn butter and rub it all over. Tried to find manager to discuss this concern about the ceiling but no one was available. Very disappointed.
I'm not a regular theater goer. So for me, one theater is as good as the next one. Given the choice I'd rather find a matinee for the cheaper pricing. On top of that, skip the snacks if you can - or if you've got a ton of money you simply don't need.
New seats were nice and things seemed a little cleaner But the biggest complaint I have is the movie never starts on time. Showtime said 10:45 We had my 2 year old grandson with us At 10:59 the video started. Then 20 minutes of previews before the movie started. Then the sound was so F-ing loud we had to ask to have it turned down . By this time our grandson was restless and upset. Won't be back
We were a group of 6, ended up split between 2 theatres. The movie I/we ended up seeing was listed to start @ 5pm, commercials last for 23min! The original movie we wanted to see started @4pm, we came in @ 4:05 pm & couldn't see the movie. If commercials last so long, why not? Plus it's our buck? The rest rooms were dirty but not as bad as the lobby & theatre room we occupied. The most disappointing part was the lack of handicap accessibility. Both my sister & I are disabled
Had to use bucket of popcorn to breathe, the theatre smelled like rotten sweat, like an extremely musty gym that had never been cleaned. I felt so dirty sitting in the seat for the entire movie that I had to take a shower after I got home. Half the soda was out, the place was poorly maintained. Easily the worst theatre I've ever been to.
