Dr. Schwartz has over 25 years of Dental Experience and Knowledge that he brings to the Ballantyne and Indian Land region of the Charlotte Metro area. His experience spans from Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry to Orthodontic and Cosmetic Dentistry. The office is equipped with the latest technology dentistry has to offer such as digital x-rays, lasers, and large wall mount monitors. These monitors allow you to observe and follow along as Dr. Schwartz reviews your dental status.

Dr. Schwartz graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He served with the US Navy as a dentist treating Marines at Camp Lejeune, NC and Quantico, VA. Following his military service, Dr. Schwartz practiced dentistry for over 25 years in a dental practice he started in Virginia.

Dr. Schwartz has extensive experience in major restorative dentistry including implants, oral surgery to include wisdom teeth extractions, root canals, orthodontics, and sedation dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and American Orthodontic Society.

At Carolina Dentistry @ the StateLine, we have performed an extensive remodeling of the spaces including adding some of the latest technology dentistry has to offer.

After many failed and expensive surgeries in NYC Dr Heidenreich was referred to me by my son. The difference in quality of work and expertise as well as care with Dr. Heidenriech is unbelievable. After going to "the best" cosmetic dentist in Manhattan ,I suffered for weeks with pain, infections and failed work for tens of thouands of dollars. I truly cannot believe the kindess and the quality of work that I received from Dr. Heidenreich and his staff. The flight, the travel and the time are with the trip to see a doctor as qualified, talented and caring as he is. He needs to head to NYC to teach some classes. I am so pleased and happy with the professionalism and kindness of his staff and the meticulous care that I have received. I can only say he is one excellent doctor!
Highly recommend! Dr. Heidenreich is great! I’ve been going to him for more than 10 years. He has always made me feel comfortable when getting work done, or during checkups. He honestly cares about your well-being and how you’re feeling. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I like to go to Carolina Dentistry at the Stateline because the staff is very friendly they are always attentive to any questions and the treatments are excellent it is very good.
As always the entire staff was helpful and friendly. Best experience both with cleaning by Shelly and exam by Dr. Heidenreich. It was all wonderful, and I NEVER thought I would be able to say that about a visit to a dentist.
Beware of this office and their billing practices! I left the office in January of 2023, paid my bill for the services due on that day and walked out with a $0 balance statement. A month later, I got a bill in the mail stating that they had found another $175 that I owed from two years prior. No one in the accounting office could give me specifics as to where this charge came from until previously when I was threatened with collections to pay the $175 mystery balance. Unless you have top tier insurance, they will mislead you with how much the services will cost, and will very likely stick you with a bill after you've left the practice. Irresponsible and unprofessional billing is the trademark of this office.
Shelley was my hygienist yesterday and she is top notch. It was the best cleaning I've had in a long time. She takes her time and is very thorough. She is also has a wonderful personality. Dr. Heidenreich is my dentist here and he is wonderful. He is very patient and explains everything to you before he does any procedure. He has a superb bed side manner and really cares about his patients. He even reached out to me to see how I was doing after I had a root canal. I love the staff here they are all very nice and helpful.
They confirmed my wife’s appointment on Friday for 7AM and then no-showed on Tuesday morning. Belligerent staff who was not willing to make it right. Do not go here. Many other dentists in the area.
I changed to Carolina Dentistry a year ago as the dentist I had no longer accepted my insurance. I found an awesome dental hygienist at this location. I was super pleased today. The dentist is good too. When I left/checked out today, the receptionist told me they no longer accept my insurance. Her exact words were, “I checked yesterday and we did. Today it shows we do not.” What?!? I asked how much the cost is since x-rays were taken too. I was told today’s bill is $175 when my insurance should have covered it. I pay for insurance so I don’t have to pay for routine services. I left with a response of, “I’ll try and submit it to your insurance and see if they cover it.” I would have walked out today if she would have told me before services were rendered. I’m still salty over this experience tonight.
I cannot express how pleased I am, with my initial visit to this dental office. I knew I was going to love it, the first time I spoke with the receptionist, Jordan over the phone. She was so kind and patient with me. The dental assistant, Elizabeth was so awesome!!! You can tell she’s really passionate about her profession. I was anxious to meet the dentist, but when Dr. David walked in I felt a sense of comfort. He’s very informative, professional, and personable. I will look no further. This is the dental office for me! If you want to truly enjoy your dental experience, you should absolutely give them a try.
Thankful I found this dentist. Even though I was anxious dr h explained everything he was doing though out the process. Everything went really well today. Thanks again
