I found Dr. Smith’s add on Facebook when I was at my wits end. I signed up for his webinar then meet with him via zoom and signed up for the Ultimate Wellness Program at Carolinas Natural Health Center. I had several health problems and was overweight 175lbs. Doing his ultimate wellness program and meeting with Dr. Cole I learned that my body wasn’t converting enough T4 to T3 thyroid hormone that the cells use so despite being on the generic Synthroid thyroid cancer and had total thyroidectomy I was still having hypothyroidism symptoms. So working with my endocrinologist with what Dr. Cole told me was able to get on T3 medication and supplements which addressed the hypothyroidism. I learned a lot about the importance of healthy eating and avoiding processed foods. I have lost over 40lbs. I was able to be off the CPAP after confirming I no longer had sleep apnea with a sleep study. I no longer have chronic renal insufficiency. Kidney function went from upper 40’s to 50’s all the way up to 78 60 and above is normal. They include in the program a gut healing, detox, importance of eating healthy foods grass feed beef, fresh caught fish, free range chicken, wild game, fresh vegetables and fruits, exercising, and self care. They did an extensive blood work, food sensitivity test, a follow up blood test. Oh I was pre diabetic which is also gone. It didn’t cue the fibromyalgia and CFS/ME but am healthier in more ways and believe the follow up blood test will reveal more improvement in cholesterol, triglycerides and other metabolic health. I recommend their program to anyone who suffering with chronic health conditions. The whole team has been great working with me to improve my overall health. They also pray for you for any concerns and needs. I wish that insurance companies would cover services. I also have been able to get off of some of my prescription medications too. Thank you Dr. Smith for putting together your team of doctors, health coaches and other health conscious people who work in putting together the health education materials to help people on their journey to better health. I am in my third month of the Wellness program at Carolinas Natural Health Center. It has been hands down the best decision I have ever made for my health. Not only have I lost 25 lbs, I am no longer on any medications. My reflux disorder is gone. No more digestive issues. Despite being in menopause, I have no more hot flashes. I have suffered from asthma for 30 years and have not had to use my inhaler in months. I feel 20 years younger! I am full of energy and motivation. I look forward to planning healthy meals. I highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with illness, weight, or lack of energy. It has changed my life for the better!
While watching Dr. Smith’s straight forward presentation I felt it was what I had been looking for-a natural, sensible, and healthy process to feel my best. Everyone who helps me is kind, respectful, understanding, and caring. My health needs are being met one step at a time. I am blessed!
Everyone I have communicated with has been so helpful and has spent so much time with me during my appointments. I have learned so much about nutrition and the supplements have helped me tremendously. The cost was well worth it. I was having knee pain daily and it has been reduced by almost 100%. The program truly changed the direction of my health. The comprehensive blood lab and food sensitivity tests were so beneficial. My PCP could not believe the results and actually was impressed. The reason I did not rate a 5 is that the amount of supplements and costs to continue this new lifestyle is expensive. for our budget. The team were so supportive and I feel I am on the right track with my lifestyle choices.
If you are looking to change your life and your eating habits, then you found the right doctors and staff. I’m so happy that I found Carolinas Natural Health Center. Dr. Smith, Dr. Cole and entire staff are amazing. I was a little worried at first if I would be able to stick to the plan but I’m happy to say that I did it. I won’t lie and say it was easy because it wasn’t. I just knew that I wanted to live a healthier life for myself and so I can be here to take care of my disabled son. I’ve totally learned so much about the foods you are suppose to actually eat and how bad the majority of foods at the stores really are. They provide a plan for you and put you only supplements that you need. If you get to a point you’re not sure about something, the staff is like family and always there to help you out. I am so thankful that I found them. After almost 2 months I feel amazing…like a new person that I haven’t felt since I was in my 20’s. This has been the best investment and experience that I have ever been apart of.
I was very excited to learn of a new treatment to assist with a higher quality of life for my granddaughter, that has Autism. Made a trip to Charlotte for a brain mapping. We then received a follow appointment for a virtual meeting with the MD, to understand the results. During the meeting, we reviewed the results, and next steps to schedule the procedure. At the direction of the doctor, we scheduled several different appointments to gather additional requested testing to ensure no high risk concerns of seizure. The results came back very positive with low risk of seizure activity. When following up with the clinic, I was ver disappointed to learn that the treatment would no longer be offered. We were told that the practice was relocating treatment to Greensboro, NC, which was never mentioned prior to making our journey to Charlotte, and securing housing during the summer to carry out the treatment plan. I expressed my disappointment, and asked to please pass on to the doctor. After not hearing anything back, I later placed an additional call to request a return call from Dr Smith. I learned that the practice wasn’t relocating, but really referring to another center. It was explained that the practice would be focusing on other wellness programs offered. I then reached out to Thebraincenter in Newport Beach, CA, where the reading is administered and where the main hub is for the training on the equipment. For centers that offer the treatment. They were unaware that the Charlotte practice was closing the treatment, but understood their was other similar ways for financial gain for various treatments. I can’t confirm this had any bearing on the rationale with exiting the treatment offered, but I personally felt their was No empathy on the part of the doctor with this abrupt change. It was costly on my part with no options to recover financially, nor solutions for next steps. I understand, as I own my own business in that profitability is key to survival and success. I just think in the medical field their should be some passion for treating those that seeking help. We’re now, desperately seeking other options.
Buyers beware. Cookie cutter program that is barely modified to accommodate your personal needs. I actually felt worse after this program than when I started. Such a disappointment and such a waste of a very large amount of money.
The staff was super friendly and very supportive. They were very helpful in staying positive about all the changes happening in my diet. It is amazing how good or bad you can feel from eating food. Physical, concentration, emotional and sleeplessness...who knew?
Just getting started, so what I can say at this early stage is everyone I've interacted with has been exceptionally kind and open to questions and helping. I was pleasantly surprised that Dr Smith left me a voice mail to welcome me to the program and encourge me to call him anytime with questions. ** OK, two months in and feeling the change : down 14lbs, getting answers that are 20 yrs in the asking... Love Dr Cole to pieces! You won't regret trying this program. The first month may feel like "um ok now what?" but once you get going you'll see!! Remember your body didn't go haywire over night, and it can't heal that way either.
