Fun ride for everyone didn't like that the price went up like everything else.
Went for a wedding reception inside, pretty roomy, big kitchen area, bathrooms, clean, not to hot or cold inside but we did keep the door open b/c we had quite a few people. The little kids had a blast running playing in the play set they have out there.
Love Gage park. So beautiful with many ponds and lots of flowers. Restrooms: Very nice, clean restroom near the carousel. Several other thru out the park. It's a huge park.
We loved riding this old carousel. There is some interesting photos and information inside plus a couple of restored carousel horses. Fun to ride and interesting information.
Old timey carousel ride, $2 per rider. Ride lasts about 2 minutes. Public restroom right there as well. You can also ride the mini train that's near by for another $2.
Haven't actually ridden on this ride but it looks nice. Plus there's a nice Victorian garden next to it. However, the public bathroom at least the men's could do with a little make over; a bit dingy and what's with the bulletin board over the urinals?.
We had to pay for adults who were going to stand next to kids for safety. Also the music and carousel kept stopping... They did say they were having issues with the remote dying or something but it's hard to explain that to 2 year olds.
Carousel was closed. It's really great Topeka still has it. I remember it from Boyles when I was a kid. I decided to go for a walk in the park today. I could not believe the trash people leave in the park. not as bad as my neighborhood Cups, water bottles & trash from a birthday party. Fine example to show your kids people. No wonder we have such worthless idiots in this world. Adults of tomorrow learn from parents of today. I don't know anything about parks in other cities but I think we are lucky to have a nice park as Gage Park. Show some RESPECT for your fellow citizens & parks employees people.
My son had a blast it's a old ride with a still new feeling you an family get spending time with each other an the animals you ride on lol
My son loves coming here so much. I hope people keep bringing their kids here to keep them in business. I hardly see anyone come whenever we go
