The appetizers fruit plate and veggie platter was great. The buffet food was mediocre and the temperature was way too cold. The decor was so so. The dancing was fun though.
This place possesses a lot of heritage and history. Very neat and tidy. I liked the decoration of the place. They also have gigantic halls that can fit hundrads of people.
I love performing and later celebrating at the Carpathia Club. They treat everyone as family. Detroit is so fortunate to have such a venue. Tom from Nova Nada.
I had my Wedding held here recently. I loved it! The staff are pleasant and accommodating. The food is amazing, everyone loved it. Cartson is amazing. He made sure everything was set up perfect. I would and will have another event there.
Went here for a craft show right after Thanksgiving. It was a great craft show, something for everyone. But the best part was the room where you buy yummy desserts and we were also able to buy food from the club's restaurant. Soooo good. Priced reasonably and plenty of it. Best craft show/desserts/dinner!
We hosted our son's high school graduation party in August 2019 at the Club. We reserved the back outdoor patio and inside bar. The food was fantastic and our guests about 150 raved about the entire event. Best decision we ever made... had volleyball set up, corn hole and we rented a water slide for our young kiddos. Great time, great venue, great food!
A few years ago I booked the hall for an event as a referral from a friend. I’m so glad I did. Since then, I have booked over a half dozen events at the Carpathia Club. The food is always delicious, the building is impressive and the staff is probably the best part. Special thanks to the manager Carsten and his daughter Samantha for every you do. You and your staff are the biggest reason we keep coming back.
Be aware of the watered down liquor if you book a banquet here with an open bar. I had 4 drinks and it was like 1-2 drinks. Dishonest practices and disappointing to say the least.
I was able to Showcase my Creations here last Saturday as a vendor !
I attended the German festival here, and have only great things to say about it! What a great beer selection - I haven't found lager Hacker-Pschorr anywhere else, whether bottled or on tap. The only small thing I'd ask is for more napkins - the food was GREAT, but just a little messy. Can't wait for next year!
