I'm a customer for life now! Kayla the sales rep was excellent to work with, and the binding company and install guy did a beautiful job! I needed help picking a stair runner color that would compliment my area rugs and walls so I showed Kayla photos of my house and she picked the perfect color. Kayla was also able to give me pricing for the runner on the spot one of her competitors required that I have their install company come measure my stairs to generate an estimate even though I knew how many stairs I have and the width of runner I wanted. Finally, Kayla was super responsive; after she ordered the rug, she updated me regularly on the process and timing. Their binding company did a beautiful job and the installation looks way better than the previous runner install I had done through Lowes. I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend carpet mill to anyone looking for flooring.
Carpet looks great, installer was extremely efficient at his skill, so much so that we have so much left over carpet we could almost do a second set of stairs. So now we have $1100 worth of carpet we did no need sitting rolled up in my rafters in my garage. I measured the stairs myself and the salesman told us we needed more than that because of a repeat pattern. In talking to others found out a repeat pattern would only be a concern on a flat floor not stairs.
The whole team was efficient and easy to work with. Our install did start ~30 mins later than expected, but they still made great time and completed the work in a few hours. My quote from a larger chain was around 15% higher and had longer lead time to order materials, I’m so glad I could choose some cost and time savings, and STILL have a 5 star quality experience. Thanks all!
Julie was amazing to work with. Bonus is she came out to our home to see exactly what our needs were. She was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. The only issue that was frustrating was day of install it took 7 hours as there was only one worker. Overall good experience and we are enjoying our new carpet.
I had a terrible experience at another carpet store and decided to get a second opinion. Sydnee was absolutely amazing in asking what I needed out of my carpet, giving me all the information needed and helping me pick the right one within my budget. She was able to work with my schedule on measurements, buying options and installation. Installation went great and they were very nice and helpful. The only complaint I have with the entire process is I wish the installers vacuumed the other areas of the house the carpet scraps fell into, but with how everything turned out overall, I did not mind some clean up! I would use Carpet Mill again and would recommend!
Carpet installed on April 13. Carpet on stairs cut too short and improper transition from carpet to tile/wood/ fake wood caps. Was provided name to contact issue, Jamie Schrader Director of Operations. I sent pictures via email with follow up phone calls. 2 weeks went by with no response. Finally heard from Jamie due to me calling and he indicated he was at a family emergency. Next he lost all emails due to his computer crashing. Still I have not heard from him and it’s been a month. My recommendation is to not buy from this company. Home Depot and Lowe’s are much better
We have worked with Carpet Mill - HR twice now and the staff has gone above and beyond with both experiences. We received the carpet quickly and the install was impeccable. I would recommend and plan on using them again when the need arises!
The actual sale of the carpet went smoothly. I have issues with the installation and the padding. Installation took two days instead of one like promised, they were messy and the carpet lines around the stairs are not very clean. I have also stepped on hard objects that I feel through the carpet. I wish they had more options with padding because I don’t feel the half inch padding is enough.
The manager at this store is deeply knowledgeable about carpet, how it’s made, the brands, and more. I trust and value his input; he won’t try to upsell you, either. We’ve shopped at many carpet locations and this is by far the most impressive and best service. COLORADO OWNED TOO!
Overall, we had a pretty good experience, despite a fairly significant hiccup. We love the carpet we bought and staff members were very friendly whenever we dealt with them. The hiccup - our space was incorrectly measured. This resulted in being short on material to complete the job in one day. This was a very frustrating concern, as we had company coming on the next day. Fortunately, they stood by their mistake and held true to their initial estimate. We were not charged for the full price of the carpet due to their mistake. The labor was late getting there on the second day, but it is somewhat understandable considering it was a Saturday. Overall, they made a mistake and owned it. I would recommend them for their value and their integrity.
