John was absolutely wonderful to work with. He went beyond and above and always took the time to answer our question and give us suggestions. We are more than satisfied with him and Carpetland and will continue to use them for future projects.
Not a good experience with Carpetland USA. Needed a simple kitchen flooring replacement project done in a rental property. I chose the flooring I did because the salesman said it was in stock. It wasn't, and I needed to wait 6 weeks for the material to come in anyway. Then the installers cancelled the day of the scheduled install date, and I needed to call and complain for them to make arrangements to come out. Then the installation was rushed and they made many mistakes even preventing one of the spice cabinets from opening. I had them come out to "fix" it, but they just covered the main issue with baseboard trim instead of cutting and fitting a new piece of flooring. After all this headache.. complete radio silence from the salesman. Unprofessional, second-rate service.
Worked directly with Karen Burt for our new home construction for all of the main flooring in the entire house. Karen worked closely with my wife and I, as well as our designer and builder to talk about our goals, concerns, family lifestyle, and overall design style we were going for. She was patient as we made many, many changes, and offered her opinion on what would work well and what wouldn't based on our family needs. Her communication was fantastic and was always willing to help even when things were last minute changes due to our own fault. I would recommend this store, specifically Karen, to anyone looking for flooring, tile, or design ideas.

We have been frequent customers with Carpetland USA Flooring Center in West Allis for 20 years and have had positive results on every flooring project. Our experience has always been great from beginning to end. We work with John Shinkle Regional Sales Manager on every project because he is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. John is one of the nicest, most accommodating and patient people we have ever dealt with. We have recommended John Shinkle to many of our family members over the years, and they have had an amazing experience also. John is always very professional, reliable and available on short notice to answer our calls and texts. He is an expert in his field and excels at serving his customers with integrity. The West Allis store has a large product selection and inventory that cannot be outdone by any local competitor. Our carpet and vinyl flooring was delivered as scheduled. The installers were courteous and very experienced. John follows up with his customers at the completion of the job to ensure their 100% satisfaction. John Shinkle always exceeds our expectations and offers great pricing…but the overall experience was one that you could not put a price on! We highly recommend Carpetland Flooring Center in West Allis for all of your flooring and tile needs.
We needed to replace some tiles on a floor we had installed 5 years ago from plumbing damage. Dave spent alot of time tracking it down. He was able to order it and have it shipped. He was really good at communicating with me.
My husband and I just finished installing the vinyl floor in our sunroom. It went great and looks beautiful. Have no complaints. Dave V. was very helpful in answering any questions we had regarding the installation.
