The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department offers a number of free services designed to promote greater fire safety within the community we call home. We welcome and encourage you to take advantage of the following services: Smoke Alarm Installation and Battery Checks, Courtesy Home Safety Inspection, Child Safety Seat Checks, Fire Extinguisher Class, Birthday Parties, Station Tours and Safety Presentations. The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department is dedicated to protecting the lives, property, and environment of our community and visitors from the destructive effects of fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and life hazards through prompt and professional delivery of fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, disaster preparedness, public education, and emergency medical response services.
