I had a party of 25 last week before a family event, and we went there but because of nostalgia to the past. Well, we had a good time with the nostalgia. I will not be going back well they did a decent job with service. We ordered specific items before hand that they ran out of and 30 dollars for a simple chicken dish is out of line. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate my mothers memory at your establishment but the value proposition is not there for the future.
Web page headline: An Experience You'll Never Forget. Should say An Experience You'll Never Want to Remember... and that's exactly what his course staff hopes for! Let that sink in for a moment. After your round and you think about your "experience" you will know why it says that! Stay clear of this course and you will be a much happier golfer! Staff is the worst including the manager and owner. If you like supporting and giving money to A-holes and dim-witted people then this is your place to golf. It truly is a shame that a couple bad apples ruins this golf course legacy! Check out all the positive reviews on YELP! LOL.....
Exquisite experience driving up to the spacious country club. The curve drive up gives you the feeling of being a V.I.P. Guest are warmly welcomed. Had an event at Carriage Greens Grand Ballroom with 110 on my guest list and the cuisine was absolutely delicious. So many sent me emails and sharing with me how fabulous the event was.
A little cleaning goes a long way. Clean your rugs, clean your bathroom. Dust the corners of the walls in your banquet halls. And the chairs underneath had tons of spider webs. It smelled horrible. The food was actually good. But the place just gave me the yucky feeling.
I attended a golf outing here a few weeks ago. The only reason it gets two stars is that the meal for the golfers was decent, and the two young servers that came later and did most of the prep and serving were good. But lunch was terrible and a mess. The manager, I think his name is Brian, was very rude and unprofessional. Never have I seen an event have no one in charge. The bathroom trash was overflowing at 10am when they opened them they had a golf outing at 7 and didn't open the main bathrooms or front door til 10 I cleaned the womens stall trash bins which were full, yet rudely told that help does it every day when they come at 10. The mens trash was never emptied. The room was dirty. Asked for a vacuum to clean the carpet and given an old sweeper. No one offered to clean the carpet. Kitchen, dirty. Ran out of coffee for 140+ golfers in the morning one pot and when asked for silverware to have for bagels and creamcheese which was brought by donation rudely given one knife Grounds were a mess. There was half a dead cat on hole 4! all day! It had been there for a while. I can not believe a business would do such a poor job with 140+ potential clients. You would think they would want golfers to come back. I have no idea how they stay open. Maybe the video poker machines. Go somewhere else. There are a lot of nice places around to choose instead.
This is the first time I’ve ever written a review for a golf course. Unfortunately it’s not a good one. It’s been a few years since I golfed here and on a positive note the course is in much better shape than I remember. The starter and cart girl were friendly as well as the golf pro. Unfortunately this is all cancelled out by the owner Brian. Some background. A group of eight of us get together each week in the summer to golf. Last week we golfed at Carriage Greens. Some of our group were already in the pro shop when I arrived. One person paid and was walking out the door when he realized he didn’t get a key to the golf cart. He wasn’t gone for more than 30 seconds before her returned to the counter to say he didn’t get a key. Brian was working the counter and said in no uncertain terms he gave him a key and said he should go and find it. My friend retraced the few steps he took and returned saying he never received it. Brian made some snide comment but did give him another key. Another person from our group who arrived before the rest of us said the same scenario happened to the person who was paying before him. He didn’t know all the circumstances but did recall that the guy behind the counter Brian acted like a jerk to the customer.. I’m not sure why but the first four people in our group got a free beer PBR when they checked in. This was not expected nor as far as I know part of our greens fees. Since I was in the second group after I found out I retuned to the pro shop to ask if we were supposed to get a beer as well. I was told we were but since there was a problem with the cart key incident he decided not to give us one. His last words to us were “Have a nice day” tuned his back and walked away. The eight of us usually stop for drinks and a bite to eat after golf but we decided to take our business elsewhere since customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority here. If Brian were an employee he would be fired. However, being the owner he’s allowed to be as caustic as he wants. I feel sorry for the employees who have to deal with his antics. But, as customers we don’t. I doubt this review will have an impact on Brian’s “bottom line” but don’t be surprised in his behavior if you have to deal with him.
Had a repass and there was not enough food nor was there enough staff or clean linen. At the end was over charged on both the bill and deposit. The point person Heidi disappeared. every thing that was discussed was not provided. Lied to get the business. I also was charged 2 times and they are very unprofessional. They are thieves with no communication skills at all
Alex, the young lady at the golf desk is super nice and helpful. The one guy, is rude and unhelpful. He makes things very difficult and he would be the reason I would not come back. I really think the management could do better and minimize his interaction with the paying public. Course is nice. The drinks are way over priced. Vodka Redbull $19.00 for 1!!!!
I would have given the course 4 stars as it is nice, its clean and good lay out. BUT, Customer service is not good though. I booked a fathers day outing that was at first was going to be 20 players, which is for 5 spots starting at 8:00 a.m. I paid for 8 in advance, which is what they asked for. Then on June 15th, either Matt or Brian called and asked for update on players. I told them 17, all were happy. I showed up on June 18th to play golf, and I went to check in at 6:51 a.m. and Brian asked how many, I told him 17 and he ask if we would do him a favor and do 1 group with 5 players and the others 3 groups would be 4. So now I am only having 4 groups and if I would be willing to pay for the other 9 spots. So i put on my card. He asked if we could hide the 5 group in middle so no one would complain. While we were playing we seen more than a few groups who had 5 in them, i even think we saw a 6. About 7:20ish I found out that 2 players couldnt make it due to Covid. I went back in and I cant remember all that Brain said but it was something like we didnt pay for enough before so its actually all good now. So i figured I would check receipts later and sort out. I called today June 19th and Matt stated Brian wasnt there and I would need to talk to him on Tuesday. About 30 mins later, Brian called me and asked what the issue was. He stated i ask for 17 and was charged for 17 EVEN though 2 had to cancel due to Covid. I can see if it was just a no show, but to still charge me for someone who caught Covid is terrible. He told me on the phone thats not his problem and that I should ask the ones who got covid to pay be back since they stiffed me by not showing. How would he have fealt if they showed up and came into the club house around him with Covid???? TERRIBLE customer service and from some of the reviews on here, I see I am not the only one to say that. I normally do a few group outings each year but not sure I will come back here. I would ask all to think very hard about making a booking here and its a shame, cuz like i said the course is actually nice.
We held our wedding reception here last Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 and we had a phenomenal time! Ms. Heidi the banquet manager did an amazing job in maintaining the place well! The Bridal Suite and the Groom Suite 2 separate rooms was very clean, beautiful, and has a strong A/C. It was hot last Saturday and me and my wedding party ended up getting cozy in the suites because it was very comfortable there. the DJ needed to call us to remind us of our introductions haha! Loved the huge life-size mirror and those fancy and comfortable couch! There's also a lockers for everyone and the bridal suite has a lock code to secure your belongings. Ms. Heidi suggested what would look good in our wedding and what ways we can save some bucks for decorating our reception. She helped us a LOT in planning the wedding reception and she has been very nice to us the entire time since the beginning January 2020. It was very easy to talk to her and she understood the situation when we had to re-scheduled the wedding from last year 2020 to this year 2021. due to pandemic. We saw in our own eyes how the place improved so much under Ms.. Heidi's management and we are very lucky that the venue was under her total supervision on our wedding day.. My husband and I loved the food and so all of our guests! Kudos to Chef Martin and sous chef Jesus! We received a lot of good feedback from our guests about the food and the service they received from the most attentive and caring staff of Carriage Greens! We are very thankful that we made the right decision to do our wedding reception here. There's a lot of good scenic view outside too for romantic pictures. I loved the willow trees and the golf course! They let us use the golf carts too. Before the wedding we had few trips here during regular brunch/lunch time and we enjoyed the food in the restaurants as well. If we are going to have a big anniversary celebration or any big events, we will do it here at Carriage Greens again. Thank you Carriage Greens Staff for giving us such an amazing time and you guys just let us enjoyed our Big Day!
