I have literally never left a review on any service, but I had to with this one. This dealership has great customer service! We worked With Marc Taylor and he made the buying experience SO straightforward and easy. We weren’t even local and he worked out all shipping details no problem. Definitely recommend buying through this dealership. We are extremely happy with our purchase and our experience with Marc!
I purchased a 2020 kia telluride at carriage kia in Woodstock about a month ago. I haven’t even paid my first car payment yet. I haven’t even got a tag in the mail yet on this car. As of today I had a battery light come on. I took the car to Woodstock Georgia. And they had service look at the car. The service tech came out and said my alternator was bad and I may not make it back to where I need to go. Remind u I had both of my small children with me. The kia dealership wanted me to pay $1400.00 to get this fixed. They didn’t care that I had my children with me and that my car would possibly not make it home. My $34,0000 car didn’t make it home it broke down and me and my two kids sat on the side of the road waiting on a two truck for over a hour in the heat. I took a picture of my car and my two kids standing beside it. I was treated like pure trash at this place. And can’t believe that a human being would treat another human being this way. The manager Ross was a completely rude to me and I wish I would have recorded the conversation of how selfish and careless this man was to me. I shouldnt have to pay $1400.00 for this to be fixed when I have not even got to my first payment yet. It’s heartbreaking to me I spent months and months to be able to get this car for me and my kids. What a shame to be treated this way. And not to mention the paint on my roof is peeling off and won’t stop getting bigger and bigger. Such a inhuman way to do someone in business.
Definitely not your "run of the mill" car dealership. They seem to be more customer-oriented than sales driven. The closest appointment they had available for a diagnostic was 2 months out. They fit my car in the schedule within 3 days. I told Joseph and Cory it was my only means of transportation, so they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of as fast as possible. Thank you, Carriage Kia of Woodstock and the service department, especially! I will DEFINITELY purchase my next vehicle from you!!!
Looking for a no-nonsense car dealership, then contact Kia of Woodstock and ask for JJ in Sales. He is a no pressure salesman who will do his best to find you the right vehicle at a price that you can afford and will fit your needs. JJ's professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service skills are second to none and he will make your purchase easy and carefree without the pressure one experiences at other dealerships. JJ will also be available after the sale should the need arise. In my 55 years of purchasing vehicles, I would place JJ in the top 1% of all salesmen ever encountered. JJ sure made this young man smile knowing this would be his first car and yes he too is now wearing a KIA Hat.
I had an issue with my fuel cover. From the moment I entered the business, I received Outstanding service. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Many thanks to Renee and Wesley who made the experience pleasant!
SUB PAR SERVICE DEPARTMENT At the end of December, our Kia Hybrid flashed a warning "Hybrid System Warning, Safely Stop and Do Not Drive see photo". We immediately contacted Carriage Kia to inquire regarding service as we were instructed by the car not to drive it. We were told by the Service Advisor we could drop it off but I would be up to 10 days before they could run diagnostic. As I could not understand how it could take so long to understand the issue/fix and we needed transportation I ask to speak with a manger. I spoke to Christian who reinforced the previous message and also suggested if I wanted faster service I could try another Kia dealer. Bewildered at such an non-customer focused response, we never the less dropped the car off and made arrangements for other transportation while awaiting diagnostic/fix. Eventually we received from Kia a report suggesting a multitude of "must do" and "recommended repairs" totaling over $4000. Fortunately, we have a close family friend who owns a mechanic shop and often works on Kia. It was he who initially recommended we take to dealership due to the nature of the warning. We sent him Kia's report...he recommended we make 1 repair at dealership $150 or so requiring a special part, then bring to him for a much lower cost effective scope of actual needed repairs..which totaled approx $1500. I wanted to wait to write this review to ensure his work addressed our problems. I am happy to report the car is running great and we have not had a recurrence of the problem after almost 8 weeks. Kia's service is exactly the kind of experience which leads people to distrust mechanics, to say nothing of the lack of urgency regarding our need of diagnostic & repair. As far as I know, Kia makes a good vehicle but that is totally negated by this type of service...so I won't be buying another one..and if I did it would not be from this dealership. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business
The service department is the worst. While the vehicle is in warranty they are very helpful but when the warranty ends they treat you like garbage. I had my oil changed and noticed the oil level was low soon after the oil change. they didn't bother to tell me that there was a valve cover gasket leak. They tell me to come back in 1000 miles for oil consumption check. When I come back in 1000 miles I'm out of warranty and they refuse to help. Telling me to call Kia Consumer 800# where you hold for over an hour. Poor customer service. I won't be back and I will not refer anyone else to Kia
Best place to get a car. Drove all the way from Columbus GA because i’ve only heard good things about this place, and sure enough they did an awesome job. Especially my dealer “Justin” who took care of me throughout the entire process and he made it so easy and convenient. Definitely recommend this Kia dealership
Eric, the “car doctor” was super nice and accommodating, but when it came down to getting the car sold he stopped communicating. I’m sure at the direction of his Sales Manager, Mark who didn’t give us the most pleasant experience. They let a sale walk away without communication that they couldn’t do what I was negotiating. Will not be coming back.
What a turn around... We have a Kia Optima that had issues with the motor. Car is beyond warranty but the previous service team done a flash for the knock sensor. The car stopped in the middle of the interstate while my wife was driving. The previous service manager was not polite and quite honestly very rude. The new service manager, I believe is the best manager ever. Our car is now having a motor recall/replacement. The current team does an outstanding job communicating the issues and time frame to getting someone back on the road. THANK YOU to the New Service Management!
