This is a beautiful library in a beautiful corner of Brooklyn. It’s not the biggest library in the world, it doesn’t have the most extensive collection of books in the world, but it has what you needed – a safe place to read and to stay abreast of current events. The staff is helpful. The place is clean. They even have clean bathrooms. The cool thing is they have outdoor seating and outdoor Wi-Fi during good weather. This is a nice place to catch a breather and enjoy some peace and quiet.
A very nice library and neighborhood mainstay otherwise library branch . One of the Carnegie libraries - the building is great . It could be a total treasure. It is well-used by the neighborhood children and the children's section makes up half the library .The books service is amazing..
Very nice and helpful people. The library always looks clean and very organized. My kids love to get books there. They have a 45 minutes reading ritual daily and they love to come to the library. Thank you so much for all your hard work, we are very thankful to have you, we also feel safe there.
Elevator is suspiciously "broken" whenever they have children's events so you are unable to bring the stroller inside. Staff is rude and curt whenever they are asked about it.
Good library when you put a book on hold it gets there pretty fast and the computers are nice
Nice little neighborhood library. A bit noisey, would prefer not having kids on the same level with the adults. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Courtney the librarian, who is a computer genius, makes the visit extremely enjoyable & pleasant. She's a total sweetheart! Thank you Courtney
A neighborhood mainstay. Could use more thorough and regular cleaning - tables are usually dirty, and I volunteer to be part of a window-washing and shade-raising squad, but otherwise this is a workhorse library branch and we're so lucky to have it. One of the Carnegie libraries - the building is great and with a little TLC and more funding, hear that de Blasio and other lawmakers? it could be a total treasure. It is well-used by the neighborhood children and the children's section makes up half the library. There are some empty shelves, which I don't understand, why not fill all available space with books? The "hold" books service is a dream.
No outlets to charge? What is this? The 1800s? Waste of time coming here.
Yay the elevator is working today.
