The purpose of this organization is to promote inclusion by establishing friendships and to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy a more fulffilling life. Thsi program will also work to assist existing Waukesha organizations to ensure well-rounded service for adults with disabilities.
To establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We do this at the college level by matching college student volunteers in mutually enriching friendships with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Best Buddies program at Carroll University is a unique organization sharing the vision of the Waukesha community to inspire all members to use their skills and make a positive impact on the community.
