I received a ticket months ago and opted to do the driving safe course. The confirmation screen after you make a payment informs you that you will receive a confirmation email. I never received it. If you don't receive it, then it's basically your fault and then you are forced to pay more money and/or go to court. The office staff do not care and make things hard for you. I am so glad I will be moving out of this racist city in a few weeks !
I had a good experience at this municipal court. The lady at security check was nice. She greeted us. The ladies working at the counter were prompt & helpful.
Obviously the reason I went wasn't fun, but the staff was actually really nice. They were practicing social distancing, wore masks, and kept everything clean. The lady that helped me, C. Was very nice, polite, and welcoming. She was understanding and patient. It was my first ticket so I was definitely scared and seeing the negative reviews spooked me more...
This needs to be brought to attention. For someone that had to make a ton of arrangements to make it to the court before 5pmlisted on the ticket before they closed and to get there just to find out they close at 4:30pmwritten on paper and stuck on front door. Online when you check they are open until 5:30pm today Thursday 06/04/2020. Its 4:47pm as i type this. This is absolutely disgusting. You want to know why I am so upset? Because I called them from 2pm every 15 minutes from different phones to confirm their timings and none of the calls got answered. Now I have to take more unpaid time off to do this. Smh. Our government is a joke.
Rude lady refused to confirm some information that is open to the public anyway, at one point she started ignoring me even tho I could hear her then she decided to hung up on me.
EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY RUDE PEOPLE AT THE WINDOW. If you ask them a question, they reply back by “ I know what I’m doing give me a second” like chill out!
What an experience! So amazing to have kindness and cheerfulness shine their light in the workplace and bless the public. Officer C. Carrol greeted me with such charm that I felt like I was checking into a 5-star resort. She is wonderful! And at the court clerks window, Erin showed nothing less than grace and patience to answer all my questions and did it with empathy and personal concern. I’m amazed. May you both continually be blessed as you’ve blessed others.
When you are pulled over you're simply given a date to pay you have to go in and ask for a court date. It's pretty clear that in this city you are guilty until proven innocent.
The people who work here have GOT to be either straight out of highschool or completely incompetent when it comes to doing their job. If I have a zoom court date scheduled why would you not send me the proper documentation that I need for my zoom call? And then call me right before my court date to tell me I have to pick up a piece of paper or it could be mailed but won’t get to me in time. I asked to speak to the manager so I could get it emailed to me because I will not be driving with a newborn to pick up a piece of paper yall failed to provide to me. So they emailed it after an entire argument and hassle broke out. Extremely unprofessional, learn how to do your job or find another one. It’s actually that simple.
I mailed a check with my paperwork to take care of a fine and they lost it. So I had to go and waste time waiting there to take care of something that would have been taken care of by mail if they hadn't have lost my check. The wait time wasn't bad though, so I'll give it two stars. I sure hope they figure out what the heck happened to my check and mail it back to me before my bank account info gets into the wrong hands. >:[
