VERY unprofessional and rude investigator. Considering this is a job where you are to serve and protect, you are failing. Learn compassion and understanding and don’t wave your hand off to people and tell them they have problems. Horrible service and very judgmental woman. I didn’t get her name because I was in shock but I’ll never go back there. If it were possible I’d put a zero and advise people to go look for someone that doesn’t hate their job.

Horrible response time. Weird vehicle parked in front of our house for over an hour. Took the patrol car about 20-25 minutes to get here we live 5 minutes from the station. Weird car drove off, and here comes the patrol, about 20 seconds behind. Didn’t even patrol the neighborhood. Went straight down our street, turned around, and left. It was like something out of a movie... guy was literally 2 steps ahead of patrol. Hopefully nobodies homes or cars get broken into.

Officer Blackwilder is th most immature officer and if anything happens to my 2 year old daughter, he will be the reason. I went to get my daughter from her belligerent drunk father & he wouldn’t let me take her home safe with me. He could have given him a breathalyzer to show my daughter is in danger with him but instead he talked to me like a dog & mocked me like a child, rolled his eyes & threatened to arrest me for trespassing when I’m clearly a terrified mother that wants her daughter safe. Clearly they hire anyone to work there. My daughter is with her drunk father and if something happens to her because of this officer. I hope he is held accountable.

Anyone know of an officer with the first or last name Tyler that works for the county & not city police? Slightly older man, mid 30s-early 40s, black hair, slightly chubby!?! Or where can I find a directory of officers??  Can someone please help me?? I need to speak with him about a very very urgent matter.

Unprofessional both in how they interact with the public in person and on social media such as Facebook. Due to the recent events of a young man getting arrested for simply going to Zaxby's to get his last check the police officer or at least the main one that abused/assaulted the young man was/is C.J. Meeks the department had to post a press release to Facebook. They whoever was in charge of replying to comments and posting the press release proceeded to show that they did not care to the point of just copy and pasting the same reply every single time someone commented to ask questions about it since the press release was VERY vague.  When they were called out on it they instead chose to lie and act like they were just typing out the same reply every single time.

I would have gave a zero if it was an option! This department is much more concerned with ticketing a mom in a minivan trying to get her children where they need to go then fighting real crime. Way to go Carrollton PD!

They were very polite, very helpful and help me resolve the issue I had at hand.

Ofc. Hinson and the Carrollton Police Department are mindless drones! Stupid, smelly, biased swine is an accurate description!!!

These people just take money when they want to in form of traffic citations.

Printed my two incident reports quite quickly and was certainly friendly enough.
