I’ve loaded here a couple times. If you communicate and show up at the appropriate time things go smoothly. Final assembly and inspection occurs during loading so it helps to keep your expectations close to reality. Be patient The forklift operator is expert.
Where to start?! No signage telling drivers where to go to check in and it seems like the employees don’t care either. They all just kinda hang around doing nothing while your trying to figure out where to go on your own. I stayed in the truck while my husband loaded because I was being starred at like a piece of meat!! Made me feel very uncomfortable. Picked up a load with 4 stops and 1 had the wrong titles for the trailers.
They open at 7 am I got here at 7:15 one of their truck took me back to the off load area. Fork truck driver told me where to park and in tarp. He was right there when I got done. Nice people I hope all my off loads are this good. Thanks hope to come back.
They really suck at getting a driver loaded. Had a 9am appointment time. It is now 11am and haven't even started loading the 8 am guy ahead of me. You guys really suck!
Very..but very IRRESPONSIBLE, SLOW and LAZY workers. Beside the fact that they don’t care about how they load you..cause for years of “experience” they have no idea how to set up the load, they will not listen to you, when you give them the advices. AVOID at all cost!! Maybe then the Management will start hiring more responsible and accurate people. By the way..they are working in group of four or five people per trailer..and it’s taking very long time to get it done..like how a lot of driver saying 21, 26, 27 hours. I got load like this from another locations where I was loaded by only 2 guys and left the property in less than 1hour loaded and secured. Shame on you guys..all together..managers and employees!!!
workers behave like kings of the world. they walk around the yard as if they were wearing naughty pants. very slow and lazy. the first time in 2 years I see such. ordered a truck, and orders more than 24 hours is not ready. and not me alone here. many drivers just wait and look at these clowns. try not to take from them a load, a waste of time and your money.
Only if any type of driver/owner operator would stop coming here for a pick up, let their trailers sit here for months, MAYBE that would help the streamline process this people need to get trucks loaded in a timely fashion......Beyond belief over the past 3 yrs, this place HAS NOT changed! Making drivers wait minimum of 4hrs plus for a pick up.....Some instances, 1 and 2 days for someone to get loaded.......Cant do business like that!!
He arrived for loading for 2 hours, and when the forklift driver began to load, he placed the trailer this is the load in front of the trailer so that when turning it was possible to cut off the air lines, I asked him to raise the little bit higher and put a piece of wood in it and he kicked out and started yelling and cursing. I asked calmly once again to raise, after which he began to poke in the face. I said unload and left.
Bought a Carry-on trailer through a local store and had it shipped from VA. Very unhappy with the quality. Trailer had significant rust which they tried to hide with a fresh paint job which came right off. After one use the post on the rear gate no longer lines up and a hammer and pry bar is needed to secure. Customer service was useless and offered no solution.
I work at Carry-on Trailers the company manufactures all the trailers for The local Lowe's, Tractor Supply and Northern Tools distributors and some independent Leonard dealers.
