Everyone was very helpful especially Jerissa. She made us feel at ease and made an unpleasant experience easier to deal with. She is extremely knowledgeable and treated us all like family. Carter Trent will not let you down.
During the passing of my dear mother, Carter Trent was wonderful to work with. The staff cares much more about people than they do the money. Each employee that my father and I had the pleasure of interacting with ensured that we were comfortable and respected our wishes. Brad Price was wonderful to work with. Even the gentlemen that delivered the flowers to our home were very kind and made an extra trip for us. Initially, we thought my mother’s services would take place at Scott Co Carter Trent, but because of scheduling and what all was going on in the Tri-Cities she was taken to Church Hill. Brent Warner was great to work with, then Brad Price took us under his wing and treated us like family in the worst time of my life. Even the sweet people in the office worked with us until insurance came through. All super professional. Brad and his staff were a blessing to us and I highly recommend Church Hill Carter Trent or any of the Carter Trent Funeral homes. They actually care about the families they serve. Our family will continue to use their services.
Carter Trent has an amazing staff. They are patient, kind, compassionate and care for you just as if you are family. They go above and beyond to meet your need in any circumstance. They also care about the community by participating in and hosting community events. I absolutely love the annual singing they host to help with the foster children in the community. Brent, Brad, Jacob and Terry are wonderful directors who will assist you in a very caring and professional manner. I highly recommend Carter Trent for any final arrangement planning you may need.
Carter-Trent has served our family for several years. In a very difficult time they go above and beyond to show genuine compassion to each family. Most important to me they make it a priority to honor and make the service unique to the family member who passed. Everything from a simple classic funeral, to a biker funeral with a motorcycle parked out front, and even coming up to share memorable stories that they had of your family member. Brent, Brad, and the whole Carter-Trent staff do everything in their power to turn a tragic event into a positive memory that truly honors your loved one.
The most professional; yet, personal staff that carries on the tradition of respect and care that their families have shared since the beginning of this special funeral home. It's more than just a business; it is a place of comfort and kindness that assists the soul in some of our darkest times. I recommend Carter-Trent at any of their locations; as, I have had many family members and friends who have been assisted with their services. This funeral home and it's staff was a refreshing comfort during a dark and difficult time for my family. They treated us with respect and love. They provided their services and went above and beyond to ensure the process was as stress-free and accommodating as possible. Brad Price along with his fellow directors/staff proved that not only honesty and compassion still exist but that they offer this in the way of a consoling hug and emotional support. Both locations offer the same services but also an unforgettable amount of passion and understanding. They value life and celebrate the memories made throughout it.
Carter Trent Church Hill is by far the best in the business. From the loving and compassionate staff and excellent service to the beautiful and well maintained facility, I could have never asked for a better place and people to care for my family when we needed it most. I believe that Brad Price has made such as impact there and that his leadership and faith in the Lord will continue to bless our community. It is the only funeral home that my family uses and one which I highly recommend.
I cannot express in words how grateful I have been to have Carter Trent Funeral Home serve my family during times of grief. They stand by you and help you every step of the way during such difficult times. Brad and Brent are so compassionate, thoughtful, and supportive. They have a special way about them to help you find comfort during the worst of times. Our family will continue to turn to them during times of sadness because their service is one of a kind.
When someone passes away you would hope to choose a funeral home that will treat your loved one with the best care and respect. You also want one that will help you through one of that hardest times of your life as the family. Carter Trent does just that. The staff is so welcoming during your darkest hours and is willing to help and is so patient and kind. They have some beautiful options considering it's a not so beautiful event. Also beyond your funeral needs they also host some events for theor community such as a annual gospel singing that is free of charge to the public. A candle light service at Christmas time to honor and remember the ones you have lost. They also use some of their events to donate money to the foster parent association to help foster children have things they need. Having nephews that came from this situation this truly blesses my heart. It's honestly just the best in the business in Hawkins county. I have to brag on Brad Price as he is so genuinely great at helping his families and making the most difficult situation as easy as possible. You can tell this staff cares about their families. He can also help talk you through any preplanning you may want to do for later in your on life. Thank you Carter Trent for being truly great at what you do for my family and others that you serve.
When my papaw passed away Carter-trent was sensational. A lot of the staff had known him due to him being a preacher and doing services there himself and they kindly shared with us how special he was. They were kind, patient and quite simply amazing. We were so fortunate and thankful to get to work with the staff there. There really aren't enough words to say how helpful and loving they were. When we were done we definitely left with more friends than when we started.
