We are a county public health agency providing health services to individuals, families and the community. We have three divisions of services.
Clinic Programs and Services includes adult health, infant and well-child checkups, immunizations, communicable disease testing and treatment, women's health services, WIC, Mobile Dental Unit, Health Education/Promotion and Public Health Preparedness.
Animal Control Division investigates cases of animal abuse and neglect and sponsors rabies and spay neuter clinics.
Environmental Health permits and inspects onsite waste water systems, private wells, inspects food, lodging and institutions, holds ServSafe classes and inspects public pools. Investigates food-borne illness outbreaks and elevated blood- lead levels in children.
