We dined here about a month ago and it was delicious! Food was fresh and well made, the service was warm and friendly. My gnocchi was delicious, husband loved his pasta and so did our daughter. Our daughter has severe nut allergies and they were able to accommodate her because they have control over their ingredients, breads and kitchen. It's a small family run place, it has heart and good food.
Not sure what to say…the food was really great….once it arrived. Long wait for a table , but that is understandable the place is very small . So no issues there. But when we sat down we ordered quickly and we were told that it might be wise to order a salad because the kitchen was “backed up’’ there are only a few tables , so backed up with what? 90 MINUTES to get two pasta dishes! 90 MIN! Im confused . They were very nice and the food was good….b it 90 MIN ????? Would not go back just because of that. Shame
Went to dinner last night with friends. This place is very small. 4seats at bar watching the chef cook and approx 8 tables. It will get crowded but I thought the food was pretty good but not something to rave about in my opinion. They have a Wine & Beer License just an FYI. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a nice place but I won’t be going back. I realize that everyone has different tastes and it was nice to try but now a repeat place for me. Here is what we ordered: I included some pictures of our meal. Salmon Special served with a red sauce very nice portion of Salmon that was flaky , roasted potatoes and vegetable. My wife had the Lasagne and it was ok - it was missing ricotta cheese nothing special. I split the Fettuccine Porcini That was fantastic and a Biancaneve Pizza The pizza didn’t have much flavor even with the truffle oil. We finished our meal with homemade desserts: Tiramisu and some other gelatinous desert served with some sauce. We should have skipped the deserts actually. The Tiramisu was lacking a rum flavor and the chocolate sauce drizzle overpowered this dish. The other thing really had no flavor.
Their food was delicious but we waited 1 hour 45 minutes from the time that we sat down to get our order. The portions of the pasta dishes were also inconsistent—some had a large portion but the ravioli only had four small pieces for the whole dish.Food: 4/5
food's always amazing. they make it fun during covid i used to get a few items to go. now it's wide open I legitimately think this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the county. few arguments for posta of course, but the price and the atmosphere is more fun. matt
We went to Caruso's for dinner while visiting Capitola. Be aware that the place is really small. Indoor seating is very limited. We were seated outside initially, but the server was kind enough to call us in when a seat opened up. We had ordered the vegetarians pizza and the Dischetti Al Tartufo. Both tasted good, especially the sauce in Dischetti Al Tarufo was excellent. We do not know what was the reason but they forgot about our order for a while. Then they realised later and got the food. It was 45 mins since we ordered. Also they got us gnocchi al forno instead of Dischetti Al Tartufo and we had to send it back. Overall we had a decent experience.
They were recommended by a customer from another restaurant. So I went. The one place was a cozy small Italian cafe. I ordered the lasagna. The only downside was my server hardly came to my table never told me specials and can coke $3 a can no refills . It was not that busy. I might go back for the lasagna it was fantastic big portion
Omg the food here is AMAZING!!! We had 4 entrees and 3 appetizers and every bite was delicious. The wine list is great and the staff, especially Melissa, is so friendly and helpful. I cant wait to come back, it was a great dinner. Would give 10 stars if possible. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wide door and they are super accomidating.
Updating my one star to 5! I decided to give this place another fair try and it turned out amazing! Food is just on another level! I will definitely recommend this place and come back!
