When we arrived it was quite busy for a Thursday afternoon. We were promptly seated and served after placing our order. I’m sure the breakfast items were yummy! Not the healthiest or gluten free friendly place, so I ordered a tri-tip salad no cheese, vinaigrette on the side. It was a decent portion of steak some romaine, but mostly iceberg lettuce, peppers, onions, tomatoes. The meals were fairly priced. I wish I could have eaten all the pies they had on display!Only sweet gluten free/dairy free option were these protein balls. This is a family destination spot and fun for kids!
This is my favorite stop off area when traveling south from the Bay Area. It has nice bathrooms, a great market, interesting attractions for kids. However, husband was hungry so we decided to eat here. The service was good. The restaurant is pleasant looking. The food is fair. I have an extra star for location. I ordered the breakfast. Husband ordered fish and chips and clam chowder. I would say everything was basic good. Just not outstanding.
I'm doing one review for this business. They have a restaurant, fruit stand, wine/deli store and the ice cream/bakery shop. This place is awesome! The fish and chips was excellent.. they have local raw honey, tons of garlic and beef Jerky. Stop by and bring $$ or credit card because they have a lot or cool and delicious foods. And you must try their pomegranate wine!! They also have a carousel and a small train to ride around the area.
It’s a must-stop. Casa de Fruta has expanded so much! It all started with a little strawberry stand. Their restaurant has good food and excellent service. I belong to the wine club and can get wine tasting, and I pick up bottles of wine every three months. They have a fantastic gift shop. The kids love the train.
Always stop here when I drive up north. There's just something about the comfort food here that always hits just right. Very generous portions for the delicious food, they do classics so well and have a few specialties that shouldn't be overlooked. Their fresh squeezed oj is one of the best you'll have. Also love the staff here, everyone is so friendly and give great suggestions.
Loved this place! It has different areas to explore and try. From a wine tasting deli, ice cream, restaurant and fruit stand. First time trying the restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the food didn't take to long and everything was freshly made. The portions were big and delicious.
Slow service, great food. Had the chicken and waffles and the California omelette on two separate visits. The chicken and waffles was crispy and juicy. The omelette was perfectly cooked, not overdone at all. Stopped by the farm stand and spent $50 on some jams and a citrus rub. I will be back.
We had a chance to stop here today, we are a trucker. Parking for truck was quite tigh but we still made it. This place is a hidden gem. Very nice to plave to do a 34 reset. Lot's of selection of fruits, dried fruits and spices. Wine selection and gifts. Very nice people specially our server. Food was delicious that warm pie with icecream was fantastic. Can't wait to be here again. Keep this area clean.
Love this place. It's a nice place to stop and relax with lots of things to do and buy. The pond in the middle is full of turtles. There is literally every type of fruit you can desire. Lots of knick knacks and an overall nice place to chill
Great food and friendly service! We came on a Sunday so we expected it to be busy @ around 3-4pm... we had a party of 9 with 4 adults and 5 kids. We checked in and planned to walk around expecting we needed to wait minimum 30 mins. but to our surprise it took us less than 10 mins and we got seated! Yay! We were not really hungry but wanted to try dining at this place since we always stop by but never dined here. I shared a meal with my wife.. We got the ribeye steak and salmon combination, paired with rice, veggies and salad, sample platter of starter which includes chicken tenders, fried mozzarella sticks and French fries, and steak burger. Food was good! Our server also checked on us if everything we have is there and if there us anything else that she can help us. We'll be back Definitely !
