Today was my first time in this pizzeria and I must confess that I have no intention of returning. Both me and my wife hate the taste of pizza. Pizza with little flavor and besides it was not well roasted. Although the location is nice and the service very good does not recommend.
This place was amazing I was in Sarasota and I have to say... I love pizza and this pizza was the best ever that I have had.. I highly recommend it and the owners and staff were the best
Best bbq chicken wings My family and I ever had. If you never tried them I would highly recommend you do. Perfectly Smokey and tangy. Pizza crust is amazing, and I love how they have delivery service. On top of everything their customer service is perfection. Thank you!
I really wish the visit had gone better for my son and I. Visiting town for a soccer tournament. We liked the workers and general family feel of the place. Sadly, we both thought the pizza was poor. We ordered a thin crust pep pizza. It was really saturated with grease. We both ate very little and left the majority behind. To eat much of that, would have been to feel poorly after. Owner/management seems to read these reviews, so I am hopeful they can tweak how they make certain pizzas.
This place is home away from home for me! With all of the awesome Buffalo food and friendly service from people directly from Buffalo I feel that I am right at home when I go here. I can't say enough about the owners Joe and Joe Jr. They are friend and family to me and I will always love them and care for them as such. My wings and fries were awesome today and I'm so grateful that whenever I visit Sarasota I can get a little taste of home. You guys are the greatest! k?Keep up the good work!
Casa di Pizza has some of my favorite pizza anywhere. It's Buffalo style pizza, so it's pretty unique compared to other styles. It's a bit of a ticket crust, and more cheese than usual. I love it. I don't live in the area anymore, but whenever I'm visiting I try to get some pizza and wings from here. Their kettle-cooked honey mustard wings are really good too.
Where to start? I ordered ten wings, "from the pit" and a Caesar salad. I started calling about an hour and 10 min later asking where my food was and was reassured it would be there shortly... Another 10 then 20 min.. I called and asked and then asked if it would even be warm?. "I think so, we have those little pizza warmers" was what I heard. I called back again.. Was told he went to the wrong hotel. Well then my food arrived. The wings were cold and soggy and the salad had mushy croutons. He did not provide blue cheese or carrots and celery or Utensils or napkins for that matter. I sent the food back and asked for it to be returned. I called the restaurant and was told at 9:55pm that they were closed and they are sorry. She didn't even offer any type of solution until I said that she would have to figure it out since she already charged my card. I was told it would take a few days for a refund. WOW.
Maybe the pizza is true to Buffalo style or maybe it's horrible. Maybe both. The sauce is overwhelmingly sweet and the crust was soggy, like fork and knife for the whole thing soggy. Wings were decent, prices were fair, service was friendly. Pizza was a deal breaker though.
I love this place. Kevin, Joe and their crew are a pleasure to deal with aside from having the best pizza and wings in town. I hope to try one of their other items one day but cant get past ordering pizza when I go in. I work at at the EVEN Hotel and Fairfield Inn and Suites and they always take great care or our clients, especially the sports teams. Rob Ferguson
Authentic taste of Buffalo. Great wings. Authentic rolls for beef on weck. Excellent pizza, quality ingredients. We stop every time we're in Sarasota. Wish they'd open up a branch closeby... Nice service, too.
