Food was delicious! Seafood enchilada was fantastic!Service was wonderful. Had great music playing that was pleasant and not too loud. Small patio, great location right on the river. Chips were perfect, light and crispy. Salsa was great, not to spicy.Food: 5/5
We stopped in after backpacking and coming out of the Mountains. It turned out to be a mediocre Mexican restaurant. It looked good from the outside. Located on the riverwalk. We were seated quickly at a table with a nice view looking out a window at the riverwalk so we could people watch. The waiter came quickly to the table. After that, however, things weren't great. As far as I can tell, chips and salsa were not complimentary. We ordered guacamole & chips. The guac was good. Chips didn't seem fresh. The margarita was excellent. 1800 Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice. I ordered the chicken fajita salad, but I got the chicken fiesta salad. It had bacon bits. A bit dry. Less than fresh lettuce. I didn't complain because of my state of famishedness. What is it with bad lettuce in salads everywhere, as if that's okay? I ordered a side of jalapenos and never got it. My daughter, a vegan, ordered a portabello mushroom salad. Also not fresh to the point that she couldn't eat it. We had quite a wait for our check and I could see the waiter was swamped. Looked like he had 10 other tables, at least. Prices were typical for a tourist restaurant in Estes Park. A bit disappointing, but not terrible. The staff was friendly, but just overworked. Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options and my daughter, a vegan, had no trouble finding something, though the lettuce in the salads was less than fresh.
Honestly the service was the only good thing about this place. The food was bland and being a Mexican man I feel this place is bad and overpriced. Paid a 300 bill to only be forced to eat bland food. I also ordered and had asked for some changes that didn’t happen like no tomatoes and had my food covered. Overall the waiter was the only pleasant thing, this place is just not worth the trip at all. Should be closed down. Parking: It’s so hard to find a spot.
I hate to give 4 stars but my taco had beans instead of beef and my husband needed a refill for awhile before we finally called somebody over. It was still worth it because it was great food and the outdoor seating atmosphere was amazing! Vegetarian options: There were several options. Parking: There is a free parking lot after 5 pm. You have to pay during the day.
Decent food, great staff, fun place, good vibes and amazing view. Had a great Dinner here with some standard selections like the Chips Guac, Chille Relleno Poblano and Tio Jose’sFood: 5/5
Delicious food and yummy beautiful cocktails. Love patio to dine by the river. Also they have some delicious local beers to try.Food: 5/5
It is all about the view here. Which is awesome if you are on the small patio. Native Texan here so I know my Mexican restaurants. The margaritas are expensive and weak. They are practically water. You have to pay for chips and and the food is bland without a hint of spice.Food: 1/5
Samuel was our server, and he was fantastic! This is an exceptional atmosphere with good food and drinks with family. We ordered chicken fajitas with extra flour tortillas, chips, guacamole and salsa along with adult beverages...Food: 5/5
Great food and great atmosphere. 4 of us eating and had different meals and all were lovely!Food: 5/5
Stopped in for lunch by myself. Was promptly shown to a comfy booth and provided water. I had the tacos al carbon. Delicious and filling since it comes with rice and beans on the side. Service was quick and friendly and it wasn't too busy on a weekday at lunch time.
