Nice family owned Filipino restaurant in downtown Bergenfield. Lots of food choices. Tons of tables and seating. Lots of free parking nearby. TVs on the wall playing Filipino shows. Large space inside so you can hold big family events. Friendly employees. It's clean inside. A bit cold in here today but that's due to the cold weather outside. The ceiling tiles need to be replaced soon. Some of the chair cushions are a bit torn, but it didn't bother me. The tables are good. Only partial negative is that some of the food is old/cold which is actually very common for this style of banquet food where you make it fresh in the morning and just keep it heated all day long as opposed to other style restaurants who make the food fresh to order. The benefit of banquet style is no wait time. Just order and your food is ready. The negative is that yes, it will be sitting out all day and just heated. So if that bothers you, then arrive near the opening hour so you get your food fresh and hot.
A typical Filipino restaurant wherein you point turo-turo what viand you want. Compared to other Filipino turo-turo restaurants they have a wider selection, and we are RARELY disappointed with their authentic tastes and deliciousness. We frequently order catering size viands from casa Manila whenever we have family celebrations. Our favorites are the roast beef with mushroom sauce, pork sisig, pork asado, and Filipino-style spaghetti. All consistent in quality and very delectable. Staff is friendly but they have one bespectacled lady staff member who tend to jack up the price of one or more of our catering orders when we come to pick up. When you order, make sure you write who took your order on the phone and the agreed price. Otherwise the rest of the staff are very trustworthy. I would recommend Casa Manila as a place to order viands and catering food needs.
The service is not good. Fresh lumpia is soggy. Sauce should be on the side unless customer wants it place for take out.Food: 2/5
We ran into this turo turo in NJ and I honestly think it has the best Pinoy food I've ever had here in US. I was just in Bay Area and Las Vegas last week, I've had Pinoy buffet and the turo2 at Seafood City in Concord, CA although they are all good but Casa Manila in NJ is distinctly better for Pinoy taste.shout out sa ka Ilang bagoong sa kare2, an Sarap at ang chicharon nila super
Restaurant who care only money not their customers. Bought bangus sinigang here for take out and found out the ampalaya vegetable they add are spoiled already. So bad.
Good customer service. Big space for dine in. Lots of Filipino food ulam choices. We really loved their fried chicken. Very tasty and reminds me of “birthday party style” fried chicken during childhood in the Philippines. If you get lucky you can buy their chicken skin and they can heat it up for you.
Yummy food at very reasonable prices. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff : I will go back there again!Food: 4/5
Decent and delicious Filipino food. Have a good selection including deserts. Certain deserts are not available on daily basis. Staff is always friendly. My wife and I would love to dine in but opt to take out due to poor ventilation. My wife and I endure the strong smell of food on our clothes and hair everytime we order to take out. Giving the food 4 stars.
places needs to be cleaned a little bit, but overall it’s a pretty good place. the food is pretty good
Ugh! So dirty inside. Bathroom has no soap. Condiments are dried out & super nasty. Food is good but oily & salty.
