We stayed 5 families. Center place to all the events, foods, rentals etc. Very Large rooms, Large size beds, easily sleeps 3 each queen bed. Nice views, Ample Car parking in second Floor. Manager Mr Bobby very nice and kind. Seems New Management resolved all the existing issues and still offering the same price.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary. To our surprise this place is nothing like the pictures online. It's run down and it doesn't appear that they take care of this place at all. And the way it is laid out and very strange. The building is connected to other shops and the rooms are above. If you park in the parking garage, you have to take the elevator down to the front desk. They have stairs, but it only goes to the 3rd floor, not the fourth floor where are room was located. Our room was ok, but the worse thing ever was the towels. They were super thin and left white lint all on my face and in my hair. The shower had no place to put shampoo or soap. The water took forever to warm up then it wouldn't cool down. Our room was next door to a room they were renovating and our first night, my husband had to call the front desk because it was after midnight and they were still working. Note, our bed was on the same wall that they were painting and scraping. I recommend paying more for a nice place to stay.
This place was great! Especially for the price we paid, I was a little skeptical to be honest but it proved me wrong. Nice location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach, inside parking is available. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is it seemed like they had too many improvement projects going on at once. Maybe pick one thing, get it done, and move to the next. Rooms: Nice and clean and taken care of daily. Nearby activities: Right at the beginning of everything on the main strip. I liked the location. Safety: The wife didn't show any concern walking around by herself. Walkability: Many things including the beach within walking distance.
We arrived at the hotel and got ready for the pool. Water was warm we enjoyed the pool. Once we got back to the room and changed there was roaches of all sizes in the bathroom and kitchen area. Went down to the front desk and saw roaches in the hallway the lady at the front was very rude no customer service skills whatsoever they did not seem surprised at all about the issue offered a different room but obviously there is an infestation in the hotel. Requested a refund and the property agreed on $40! I paid $200 for the room. Never booking here again.
The motel faces the west, has lots of windows, but they've NEVER BEEN CLEANED! The room was huge, 60'long, perfect for spring break, but needs a thorough cleaning. The elevator has graffiti written all over it, like a county jail. RUNDOWN is the word I'm looking for. The Ramada is much better.Rooms: 1/5
The entrance was not great and a little weird but the room was very spacious and clean. No cockroaches as most people mention. We stayed on the 4th floor. Windows were really dirty so you can’t really see anything outside.Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I walked into the lobby to check in, saw how run down it was and saw that the lobby furniture was stained and dirty - and walked right back out and made reservations elsewhere. In my mind, a hotel’s lobby is their best foot forward. I wasn’t willing to take a risk on the room.
Room is very important so I gave them a 2 on this visit when they are usually a 4/5. I accidentally got a handicap accesible room and the upkeep of these rooms are sub-par. The sheets which have nothing to do with the room, but service, smelled moldy like when you wash towels and don't dry them well and they sit in the dryer for days and develop a musty/mildew smell. Thats not acceptable. Didnt call for new sheets cause we got in a 1:30am and just wanted to sleep. And the pillows weren't like we've had in the past, soft and fluffy.
Warning… cancel your reservation & run!!!!! The whole process of checking in was horrible! The front desk clerk was not knowledgeable of the process at all which made it way longer, then we finally get to our room just to fight with the roaches on our bed & in the restroom. When I asked for another room, ofcourse I was told they were booked & no refunds is plastered all over the walls. Let’s not forget I paid for a room with a kitchenette & DIDNT RECEIVE IT EITHER!! Don’t even drive through the parking lot, you may catch the funny odor the property has. I’m gonna load the pictures of the roaches that I had to battle just to use the toilet.
The rooms were spacious but the couch has stains. It sucks that there is no beach access . It's a great location and staff is super nice.Rooms: 3/5
