Frequented here often for good service and prices on large trees, but last visit was odd. Two guys I did not recognize from last visits. They told me they were closing, but it listed an hour later than my visit to buy trees. Then they went on how nobody in Bend wants to work anymore and how this local garden store is closing this summer due to owner sick so there won’t be anymore trees in their stock. Sad to hear the news if true.

This shop is so wonderful, they have a huge variety of houseplants. Each plant was in excellent condition. The staff working was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were even willing to hold a plant for me to pick up next day. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for quality plants. :

Went in just before closing on a Monday to peruse the houseplants. The woman working the shop the owner? was very welcoming and kind. I ended up buying 12 little tiny baby plants for $3.00 each. She gave me tips for raising them and showed me what some of them will look like when they are a bit bigger. 10/10 will return.

My review is limited to the purchase of common houseplants. The staff I worked with were helpful and knowledgeable when helping me find some plants. But the prices!! $26 for a 6 inch plastic potted pathos?! I'm used to around $15 for such a common and easily propagated plant. There was obvious annoyance when I inquired the staff about the prices. I did buy 3 common houseplants and a macrame holder for just under $100. The pothos and other plants were severely rootbound after inspection at home. One of the plants didn't make it and the two others needed some nursing back to health. The store has a no return policy for plants. I bought from this company only because the staff was nice but the prices were too much to go back. The hours of the shop are very limited. I tired to get to the shop multiple times because I like supporting local business. At almost twice the cost of other places, the prices are steep. A below average review merely because it was such a shock to see the prices for some very common houseplants.

This review is a little different, since I didn't actually end up ordering any flowers from them. I tried to... and they were very helpful, however once I explained where I needed the floral arrangement delivered to, Taryn told me that while she didn't want to lose a sale, there was a nice flower shop right next to where we were staying, and that they did a great job. I really appreciate the honesty, and the least I can do is let everyone else know how helpful and nice the staff here is!

I stopped in because the website boasted “Central Oregon’s largest indoor plant selection”. What I found was a pretty standard variety of house plants with nothing of note besides how outdated the decor is. I knocked another star off the review because the employee who greeted me wasn’t wearing a mask or any other kind of face covering even though we were indoors.

The owner Mary Ann, along with the rest of the staff at cascade garden center, were EXTREMELY knowledgable, friendly, and just plain fun to be around. I bought several indoor house plants from them, and ended up spending over an hour in there by choice because it was such a great experience. The plants look fabulous in my house, and I will be back for more. Thanks again Mary Ann!

This place is dear to my heart. Taryn helped me choose the most beautiful flowers for my sons funeral. I come in here often to buy white roses for him. The staff is amazing and sweet. They care very much about their costumers. I always look forward to buying flowers from here and seeing Taryn and the rest of the crew. Very sweet. Beautiful flowers as well. Fresh and fragrant. Maryann and her team made our dreams come true with our wedding flowers! I didn't know exactly what I wanted and she was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to show us so many different types of flowers and color combinations and asked all the right questions to figure out what we wanted. The day of our wedding we received so many compliments on the flowers, both bouquets for the bridal party and the beautiful decorations for the venue!

Showed up around 4:45. No one around to greet us or help us look for a purple Japanese maple tree. After 10 minutes of looking around, we finally found what we were looking for. A man came around the corner at 5 minutes til 5pm and told us they were closed. We informed the employee that we found the tree we were looking for and wanted to purchase the tree but were waved off. Guess they don't care about local customers or making any money.
