Not Impressed! My granddaughter had her birthday held here, the room was nice enough, but please $15.00 per person for one cupcake with colored sprinkles & "1/2 cup of coco"! Don't expect a birthday song, or refills on the coco, it's not happening, once served, service is basically over! Cupcakes are ok, nothing to write to grandma about, I know, I'm grandma...
I really wanted to like them, I've always wanted to try Casey's products, but didn't get a chance until yesterday. The branding of her products were carefully thought out and definitely very inviting upon stepping foot into the bakery. There were even sweet treats you can buy for your doggies! Unfortunately, I felt that the cupcakes looked better than they tasted. I got the Crownie flavor of this month, which included Ghirardelli chocolate with vanilla cake and brownie. The frosting wasn't very flavorful compared to other gourmet cupcakes. The cake portion was a bit dry and the brownie was hard. Great concept, but not quite. I also had the expresso flavored cupcake, but I couldn't taste the coffee flavor. In fact, I felt it tasted just like the Crownie, but without the brownie. Both frostings tasted more or less the same. $3.75 each. Service was great, very attentive and apologetic for the wait. However, I don't think I'll be back.
Waited for a half hour 4 the store to open so I could purchase a gift type basket for the office... at 10 o'clock a worker entered into the store....... which on the recording and the website says they open at 10 and told me that they do not open until 11 now and I can see the email the boss sent her 2 days ago if I want....... no sign on the door stating such ........they..didn't bother to change the recording so people wouldn't have to sit there and wait only to find out....... and now I'm going to have to find another place to go .......poor management if you ask me and customer service....... wonder if this reflects how their products taste too........obviously they're not doing enough business to stay open that extra hour ........ was hoping being as they were on Cupcake Wars on Tv that it would be awesome ....maybe now they're heading towards the reality show The Profit sad to say
