Cashlynn K. Jaggers is a Northern New York artist who works in a variety of media and styles. Her artistic process began as a child, studying her father while he sketched. Today, the primary source of inspiration for her diverse subject matter derives from her personal experiences and interests.
Ms. Jaggers is a senior at Massena High School and has studied Studio in Art (2012), Advanced Independent Art Studies (2013-2016), and the International Baccalaureate Program for Visual Arts (2014-2016). Those courses fueled her artistic passion.
In 2014, she was the twenty-first district’s representative in the U.S. Congressional Art Competition. Her piece, “Papa’s Farm” hung in the nation’s capital for one full year. Jaggers was also the recipient of a 1st place ribbons in a local tri-county show. Her painting entitled “Tender Hearts” was then raffled off and its proceeds were donated to an orphanage in Uganda.
Her artwork has been exhibited in multiple local and state competitions and resides in many private residences throughout the United States.
In the future, Ms. Jaggers aspires to study at a local college and become certified in art education with a minor in business.
