Description

Casi Cielo Winery truly is "almost heaven" and is now the home of the Maness Family. The name "Casi Cielo" was originally given to the property by Paul and Marie Vesco when they built the home and planted the initial vineyards in the 1970's. Casi Cielo is a sprawling mountain top estate built in the adobe hacienda style overlooking the 4 acre farm, vineyards and beautiful San Diego vistas.

We are a family owned and operated farm and winery that specializes in unique handcrafted products including traditional red, white and rose wines and our newest addition, Kickass Fruit wines. In addition, we offer gourmet grape and fruit jellies, hand crafted quilts, and unique gifts including barrel stave crosses, cork items, and vineyard paintings.

Lux black services just got here. All costumers very happy. This was the highlight of the day. We usually do ensenada but if you preffer to stay in the US. Don't miss this winary. Also the closest one from San Diego. That is really worth visiting.
Attended a surprise birthday here. Due to the rain the amazing hosts opened up their formal dining area to accommodate our large party. Such a beautiful home. Loved everything about this winery- the WINE was great, the hosts, the llamas and alpacas are so cute and friendly too! And I can’t forget to mention the property dog Sergio So happy to have discovered this hidden gem so close to home. Definitely coming back!
Real tranquil winery, PJ is awesome! She opened a bottle for us that was not on the tasting menu and it was really good Silver moon "good stuff" Sharon the Server was great! This place has a really home felling, everything is just great! The quilts they have are just amazing work! Decor only not for sale amazing wine and great snacks to munch on.... thanks for a great experience! We will see you next year......
Casi Cielo is family owned and operated. The owner hosts, Greg and Katie, are inviting, friendly, and make you feel at home upon arrival. It is a casual dining experience where you are welcome to bring your own food. Uniquely flavored homemade jam and honey pair well with the individual cream cheese, snack crackers and baby bel cheese that are provided. Flights are reasonably priced with a nice variety, including two unique fruity wines. I definitely recommend Casi Cielo if you're looking for a place to unwind and relax away from the mainstream wineries.
Very nice property. They were very responsive once we connected. The wine and jams were delicious and my birthday celebration was a success. I will be returning and referring friends and family. The location is perfect and beautiful.
Such a bummer. I called a week in advance to make sure they were gonna be open on Sat. I even brought more people, like they asked me to. When we got there everything was closed. I called to ask once i was there if they were going to open. They said they would check with the person that was there. Nobody came out and no call back. Luckily, my uber waited for us. We waited about 10 mins and nothing. : Only good thing was all the cute dogs outside.
Has such an at home feel! Their jams and wines are beyond amazing. You can feel the passion from the moment you walk in. Definetly a hidden GEM in San Diego!!
Best winery I've visited in San Diego. The wine is good and P.J makes the whole experience fun. I'm definitely coming back. Highly recommended

The service and the owners were the best! Great scenery and a lot of history behind their location. Definitely a must-see.
