This is my first time coming to this location. I planned a little stay-cation with my wife and got a deluxe room. Once we arrived we checked in and went straight to the room, in the room we were on the 9th floor with a great view and the room was very clean and neat!! The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are quiet and it has a great shower!!. Went down to enjoy the pool, got some drinks and later that night did some gambling. Over all we both had a great time and can not wait to go back!!
Stayed here for 3 nights and was so happy with our stay. Service was very good all staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and beautiful. Views here are amazing! We can’t wait to go back! Food & drinks: Blue coyote was exquisite and delicious!
To start, it was super easy to get in an out of. Parking was fine. We went on a weekend where there was a pool party. A bit bizarre to me that people staying at the resort had to pay an additional cost to attend the pool party the pool was limited access to people only with tickets Next was the service. We were given a $25 voucher to redeem for the casino and we went to redeem it. We won an additional $10 from a scratcher as well!! The First Lady who helped us was so kind. We had to go back for additional help and the Second Lady was very condescending towards us and her coworkers. I wish I got her name. The whole experience was great. Close by everything we wanted to do including the aquarium and TopGolf!
Nice local resort. Enjoyed the live music in Friday night and the food at the restaurants. Prices weren't that out of line. The gaming however was a bust. The machines eat $20s as an appetizer. It loves $100 too. No joy I must say just watching your money go down the drain. It doesn't matter how colorful the machine is..Rooms: 5/5
Our stay was wonderful. We had a King room and it has a shower and separate tub which i loved and took advantage of. Front desk to housekeeping all gave us wonderful service and smiles. We have stayed at all of the resorts here and this is now our favorite.Rooms: 5/5
Casino is nice. Like clean, well lit, and lots of nearby people if you need assistance. I really cannot underline how *nice* this place is. Does not have that grungy feel like in other places. We play roulette and it was bumping on a Saturday night, but we found a machine that served 25 people at a time making craps, roulette and black jack at the same time. Min bet was 25¢ so right priced for some fun.
I expected more. No real restaurant choices, no entertainment either other than dropping money in the casino. Pool was average. Concierge was no help whatsoever. Not a resort in my opinion. Bellman "Stick" was awesome.
Great place to go when you have some extra money. The recently added sections where the Poker room and buffet used to be are really nice, and the slots in those new areas seem to pay out well. I only wish they would bring back the $5 buy in Blackjack tables.
I spend 3-4 nights per month at this resort and have my employees stay here as well. I have had a good experience until this past trip. While leaving the resort the valet knocked on the window of my car asking why I did not tip him he wasn't even the driver of my car. I explained my poor experience that I received earlier in my stay and he tells me that my experience shouldn't impact tipping. He then proceeded to tell me he recognized me and that I did not tip him enough on my previous stay. I called and spoke to the valet manager and expressed my frustration and how that experience would impact me returning in the future. He did state they have a strict no solicitation policy. My employees and I will no longer be staying at the Talking Stick. It is a very nice establishment but there are plenty of nice places around Scottsdale that don't chastise customers.
