Great place to stay! The pool is indoor/outdoor and open early to late. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. My only complaint was that breakfast at Home Plate was slow-: I think the restaurant had too many hostesses and not enough servers. Nearby activities: Check out the horse stables and spa at neighboring Tamaya!
Friendly staff, wonderful rooms for a good price. Breakfast on your own but options on site. Not Smokey or loud. Beautiful building and wishing we stayed here much longer.Rooms: 5/5
I was really pleased with this place. It was the nicest most well kept of the local casinos. North Central New Mexico The location isn't ideal, but if you're willing to drive a bit more for things outside of the resort, it's fine. The staff is really welcoming on all aspects. I was greeted by security, housekeeping, restaurant, and auxiliary staff. They didn't just greet and brush off they were engaging with my kids as well as myself. The facilities were clean and well kept. I took the family bowling, and it was my younger kids' first outing. They fully enjoyed the experience. Although it was a steep learning curve the cost of this place is really reasonable, especially for the available amenities. Rooms: The rooms were spotless and well kept. Safety: We saw security on patrol regularly and didn't feel unsafe at any time.
You come here spend your money and play by their rules. You make mistakes, you lose your money and that's on you. They make mistakes, you also lose your money. I'm ok with losing money because it's a gamble. At least make the game fair for the players and take some responsibility. Dealers seem to ask for tip. They only focus on the ones that bet for them.
Very clean room. The front desk attendant set me up in a room on the top floor with the most GORGEOUS view of the mountains and far away from the elevators. I didn't go into any of the restaurants or the casino floor.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful place with lots of space and a great variety of slot games. The staff are super nice and very helpful as this was our first visit. We most definitely will be back. Thank you all for a pleasurable experience. See you soon
Didn't rent a room or see them, but Santa Ana Star seems to have more giveaways and more of a relaxed atmosphere than other casinos. They have a good selection of games and their food court serves delicious authentic meals, usually priced $8-$9. The red chili is medium hot and is like a gravy, which I love on enchiladas and anything I can put it in! Hamburgers, chicken, french fries are all fried fresh and delicious!
The hotel is very nice I was in the convention center and they are definitely high-tech. Staff was super friendly and willing to accommodate. Great place to have a conference.
The entire staff: the front desk workers, the bell man, valets, restaurant, workers, the swimming pool attendant, the hard working people who clean the rooms...I mean everyone was friendly, helpful and made me feel special. Lucretia at the front desk was particularly helpful, I remember her name but they were all truly wonderful. The food was delicious, too!
The check-in process took quite a bit longer than it should have. Not because the reception was bad, but because they were understaffed for the volume of people checking in. The room was nice. Everything shut down at 10 or 11pm because they were doing a system update overnight, which was fine because we weren't there for the casino other patrons were pretty disappointed, though. The propery is pretty and the room was nice.
