Artist Bio:
Cassandra Gullicks
Cassandra lives in Woodbury, Minnesota. She is a stay at home mom and modern impressionist artist. She is inspired by nature's colors and movement and the beauty of the human body. Cassandra's mediums of choice are acrylic paint on stretched canvas or wood boards, oil paint on canvas, and pencil or colored ink on paper.
Once upon a time-
Cassandra received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Art and Psychology from The University of Wisconsin-Superior. She dreams of one day becoming a famous artist who could help others by making art. She worked many different jobs, some relating to art, but they never really fulfilled her true artistic dream. During that time she got married to a wonderful and supportive husband with whom she had two beautiful children. Now that her children are no longer infants, Cassandra has grabbed hold of the opportunity to get back into what she loves while still being able to stay at home and care for her children.
Brush and pallet have been raised and paint carefully applied to canvas; Cassandra is painting again.
Cassandra primarily paints during nap time and after bedtime. The studies are called "afternoon nap masterpieces" and "midnight masterpieces." Cassandra loves to paint. It fills her heart with joy to travel Minnesota with her children and paint local and Northern wild landscapes.
