Castaways Furniture Consignment

Someone posted a low quality & inexpensive bunk bed frame for a reasonable $75 on Craigslist, and I responded quickly within the first 9 hours. I was told that it had been sent to consignment. Why would you post something on Craigslist and send it to consignment the same day... pointless, unless you worked for them? Anyway, I contacted the consignment store, and they wanted $200 for the $75 frame! Wow! So either the person who posted on Craigslist works for the company & it was a complete scam or the company itself is trying to rip people off! So all I can say is buyer BEWARE do your research online because you can get a lot of good options for less than $200 if your budget shopping. I'm not saying they don't have options at good prices... I do find it hard to believe! So don't forget you probably have a small device in a pocket somewhere equipped with the Internet, called a smart phone! Do yourself a favor & do some research or risk getting taken!

Used to appreciate this store and loved to browse here. It seems as if they have went along with the craze lately of "let's spray paint something and bump the price up $300". No thanks, not for me. Friendly staff and good location though!

Weirdest place ever. So expensive even for consignment prices, it’s hard to find, in the back of a full price retail store. Also, every single piece that was worth looking at that wasn’t broken or missing pieces was sold. So strange. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else.

I found several pieces I liked, bought a couple. Now it's time to refinish antique one of them Smile,S

The consignment portion of the store has been closed for quite a while.
