They use discounts to get all their reviews!! It is not 5 star but maybe a 3. Unless you are a regular with a set tech, I’d try a different salon. I am not one to complain.. I have visited this “spa” probably 10-15 times over the course of a year. They have some great techs and then some mediocre at best. The first couple times were great and I loved my nails and I went to the same person each time. She since has not been available on the days I am and doesn’t do pedicures so I have been helped by other people. My nails have been crooked, different shapes, I’ve been cut etc., I no longer get my nails done unless that one tech is available. As for pedicures… never been the best but I chalked it up to them being new or whatever. This last time was my final straw. While the tech was very sweet he was not experienced enough to even paint my toes, let alone do a full pedicure. The paint looks like my 2 year old niece did it, I didn’t receive the calluses removing service, my toe nails are different shapes, no cuticles were actually cut, AND it took an hour and a half. I actually spoke up this time and received $4 off my total. I paid close to $60 for an elementary school project.
I took my wife and daughter to have a spa day, they basically ignored my 3 year old precious little girl I had to tell them to put water in the foot spa, add extra pillows, and told them I wanted her to get her pedicure done, she didn’t get one and my wife lol, my wife had chips in her nails in less than 24 hours, cheap products, watered down… I’m not sure, but I do know, that at grapevine nails by Baja Mex, her nails held up for 20 days without a single peel or chip while packing boxes because we are moving west, yay, point being; Castle does not reflect the treatment of royalty you have failed and I would recommend anyone who sees this review, go to Grapevine Nails, we are still moving this week; it’s been 10 days, she got her first snag today. BOOOOO CASTLE NAILS… I will add photos here and on their review page to reflect accordingly the pictures posted here are after 48 hours from Castle I’m leaving this review because I had to hear it relentlessly from my wife about how horrible she felt about her nails until I took her back to get them done right at Grapevine Nails

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS SALON. Will try to scam out of your money! Be careful! My daughter and I have tried this nail salon 4 times. Our first trip was good until the cashier tried to overcharge us more than once. The nail tech gave us a price, when we went to pay, the cashier tried to over charge us by $15. I asked to speak with the nail tech and he refused multiple times, I had to cause a scene just for the owner to get the nail tech to verify the pricing that she told us. When she arrived I asked her to verify her quote and she said yes, the cashier didn’t want to take the price down so the owner stepped in and fixed the issue. The nail tech gave the cashier a look after she verified her quote that said, “I’m not covering for you” and the look of disappointment and shame on his face was so satisfying to me. The times in between that I went, the cashier wasn’t present and I was charged exactly what I was quoted. Fast forward to our 3rd time, one of the techs broke my daughter nail and had to put acrylic on to fix it back. To match the other nail, the nail tech offered to fix my daughter other nail which we did not ask her to. When we arrived to pay, the cashier tried to charge me for their mistake and for the nail tech offering to fix my daughters nail. The owner came to the front again when he saw it was an issue with trying to overcharge. The cashier took the price off. You could see on his face that he knew he was in the wrong. I asked the cashier the pricing of my current nails which needed a refil. He told me $90, little did he know the time before that when he wasn’t present, I had a nail tech at that exact shop do my nails for $70. This was confirmation that he is scamming people out of their hard earned money. After leaving, I contacted the nail salon a week later to get the same lady to do my nail refill, the cashier answers the phone and asks me to verify who I was, after verifying he stated that my daughter and I can no longer receive services from them. I was totally okay with that because the cashier knows that I’m not allowing him to steal my money as he has done to who knows how many people before. Our incidents aren’t his first time taking people money especially during a pandemic. I strongly suggest anyone that reads this to find a nail salon that will not try get over on you. The cashier is a thief! The nail techs and owner isn’t an issue it’s the thieving cashier that makes this place not reliable. Also my first time, the cashier refused to give me my 15% off but gives my daughter hers. He said he was only allowed to do one, which was odd but after experiencing these situations, it’s evident that his agenda is very clear!
I was looking for a new nail salon and stumbled upon this one. I saw that the reviews were great and there were a ton. I’m from Denton, so I drove about 40 minutes to this salon. They got me in, and let me tell you, this place is beautiful. Tons of colors to pick from, a very friendly and interactive staff, and great services. I got the solar nails colored acrylic done by Mai, and she did a fantastic job. I love them. I definitely will be coming back again to get my nails done.Services: Nail extensions
My friend and I went here on a whim and now it is our nail place despite being 30 mins away from home. They did such a good job on my nail art AND I am going back today just 1 day shy of 3 weeks later and they still look pretty good and I get compliments.Services: Nail art
Wasted alot of time here getting a gel pedicure. The lady that did my nails initially, left a hard air pocket on my big toe. Due to the language barrier, she didn’t understand what I was politely communicating to her and was visibly upset. I spoke to the manager and he assigned another lady to re-do them. She was rude as well but ultimately did a much better job. Customer service is 0/5. Nail quality 2.5/5. Go somewhere else.Service: Pedicure
Amy is a godsend! Best pedicure that I have had in 3 years. The massage was firm instead of somebody creepily stroking my feet. I love it, I don’t live local and would come back just for her. The fact that the nails look amazing was just a topper.
Lindsey did amazing work on my nails and made sure I was very comfortable while there! I don’t usually know how to ask for things so she took time to explain everything for me and made sure to get me what I want. Usually people aren’t so patient but she was amazing!
Mai does an amazing job every time I go!!! Definitely go see her for your nails she never disappoints!!Services: Nail painting
