Cat Hospital at Towson has a lovely staff, cute interior, and today I learned there is parking in the back! I appreciate how communicative they are with upcoming appointments. I also feel like my cat was difficult to work with today, but the Doc and Vet Tech were very understanding and calm with him. I feel like we received 5 star care, and I would happily reccomend this vet for your cats.
Absolutely phenomenal care from everyone here. Dr.Brunt is such a caring and compassionate vet, my cat Sadie was in such good hands whenever I brought her here for treatment. She took the time to explain all of her medications, treatments, and costs with us, and made sure we knew all of our options. She really did her research for my little one. All of the staff is so personable and invested in each cat that they see, it makes me so happy to know they know all of their patients’ stories and care about them. My partner and I are adopting a pair of kittens this week and we will absolutely be using CHAT for their care.
I won't be going back. I took my cat here Because I have questions about feeding him.. I was shamed into getting blood work done. Not only is 500$ is a lot but it was implied that I couldn't care about my cat if I didn't get it done.. Weeks later I had to call for test results and still don't know if I'm feeding juju properly, Because Dr Johnny couldn't tell Because he need to make sure it wasn't something medical.
I am giving this place 3 stars because I not sure of my opinion yet. My cat is still having the same problem and after second visit I just felt like I was a bother rather receiving any help or suggestions.
Boarded my old kitty there for a week and a half and they took great care. She was an ailing kitty and they paid extra special attention to her and kept me informed of her well being. I felt better knowing she was in good hands.
Dr. Johnny is absolutely the best. My older kitty is doing better than she has in years. Staff is kind and courteous.
Absolutely stellar care and a fantastic staff. CHAT has always been incredible and accommodating with my little old man and his old man health problems. I’ll definitely be sad if I ever have to move away and fine a different vet lol!
I had a pretty serious concern with my cat… Dr Johnny and the staff were very attentive and made sure FatCat was comfortable… I appreciated the attention
I started going here during Covid with my 16+ year old cat who’d been previously diagnosed with early stage renal failure. At first I liked it because the 2 different vets I talked to followed up my visits with phone calls and patiently explained everything and answered my questions. On my second to last visit I never received a follow up phone call regarding the vets notes about a supposed heart murmur my bad for not pestering them about it. 3.5 weeks ago we had an appt that included a full senior blood panel, and despite several phone calls I’ve yet to see the results I paid for or get a phone call from the vet. The standard answer when I call is “it will happen tomorrow”. The people there are nice enough but clearly they are understaffed and they should just say that or stop taking appointments until they have enough staff to properly run their business. The person I’ve dealt with on the phone has yet to even apologize. I definitely do not recommend this business if you’ve got an older cat with a complicated medical history.
