Catoosa County Health Department

Staff is always very friendly & helpful. I was able to get 3 of my children's vaccines all in one visit. Our total time from walking in the doors, filling out paperwork, getting their vaccines, & out the door was under 40 minutes. We are lucky to have the Catoosa County Health department. I've been to other health departments over the years & I can honestly say that Catoosa County Health Department is the absolute best hands down!

The lady at the front with glasses and silver hair about fifty something is VERY rude. She doesn’t know her job or what she’s doing she’s very pushy and just plain rude. I’ve seen her make a lot of people feel uncomfortable. Why hire people to work with people that act like they’re better than you? I will be talking to corporate about this. She doesn’t answer calls and talks to the other clerks while people are needing answers. This is the third time I’ve seen her doing the same things to different people. If anyone knows her name please let me know because she wouldn’t tell us.

The lady in the front with silver hair and glasses kinda talks manly is RUDE AF! It took her five minutes to finally quit talking to the other lady’s in the back, She won’t answer phones.. the phone rang five different times and she didn’t pick it up, because she was too busy talking again, someone else did FiNALLY! She doesn’t know how to answer questions for people or even how to sign you in. She talks about the people who just came in the office, she talks rudely to the people who just came in. It seems like since she doesn’t want or like to work with the public.. she wouldn’t be a clerk at the health department.

Went today to get tested for covid 19. We arrived at 3:50 and a sign is up and says that they are thru testing for the day. And they were sopose to be accepting people until 4. It takes alot just to get my husband ready to go places since he is disabled. Im sure they could have let us in since it wasnt even 4 yet.

They’re SUPER friendly and helpful when you’re there, it’s getting in touch with them via phone call that is the problem. I’ll call two are three times before leaving a message due to no answer and the last time I left a message it took them nearly a week to return my call. At that point I had already called AGAIN and gotten ahold of someone so that I could make my appointment Otherwise, I adore the staff.

I was told two weeks ago I would be getting a call in a couple of days to get my covid vaccine, I have not heard from them since so today I tried calling them and the phone rings two or three times then they hang up seems like they could at least have a least have a recording since they refuse to answer their phones.

You guys need to stop doing COVID-19 testing if you are so backed. Don’t come here to get tested if you don’t want to find out a month after. I understand that Quest Lab is backed up but come on now, find a solution to this instead of giving people false hope. It’s absolutely ridiculous!

Have an appointment at two get put on hold when called to check in then get told I have to wait for a call back from the nurse for my two o'clock appointment which I'm actually having to wait in the car for an additional 15 to 20mins with a crying baby . Should have scheduled it for 230 little did I know I'd have to wait extra time just to get checked in . Shouldn't have to wait twenty minutes just to get checked in .

The experience was excellent and my family plans on going. The Nurses were super and friendly and Professional. I Rate them a 100 Percent
