Catrina Grill

Where do I start… I make this review as a person who is NOT a fan of Tex-Mex. Catrina Grill is great Mexican food… it’s refreshing. Their chips and queso blanco were amazing! Their chips are probably the best I’ve ever had. Their Barilla tacos are incredible! Definitely a must, if you’re a taco person. Their baked potato order with carne asada, chefs kiss! was soft all the way throughout it, which isn’t a common experience for me. We got their Pastor street tacos, a great serving size! Their Tres Leches Cake is sooo good. We also had their Horchata and that was a favorite. Such a welcoming family owned business. They had great customer service for how busy they were, both inside and their drive-thru. Only “bad” thing was the building is HOT. It’s also 112* outside and they were cooking up a storm. We’ll be eating here consistently, just pickup orders until this heat dies down.

Delicious! I finally found a good taco spot in Dallas. They have the best tacos & Birria tacos ever! If you’re looking for some good food this is the place for you! I went back 2-3 times for the week it was so good!Food: 5/5

I love the birria tacos here! And the fresh tortillas. Given that, I was excited to try their breakfast. I pulled up and asked if they had breakfast burritos. The lady at the window says yes. She asked what I would like inside, I said bacon and potato and I'd like 2 of them. Instead I received 2 tacos. One with bacon one with potatoes. I left with my food and not 1 min goes by and the bottom of the bag is completely soaked in oil. I take the tacos that I didn't order out of the bag and they are swimming in oil. So much for a quick breakfast in my car before work! I don't think I'll be back for breakfast at all.

Saw the viral TikTok and had to stop in and try it. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We loved the birria tacos and half chicken. The green creamy salsa is some of the best in the city. We covered everything in that it was so good. Can’t wait to visit again and try more of their menu.Food: 5/5

Saw a video of this place on TikTok. Gonna be real here if it wasn't for TikTok. I probably wouldn't have ever stepped foot in here. I had seen the video a couple of weeks back but hadn't had a chance to hit it up. We'll today was the day, and I was gonna try it. Location is about 5 miles away from my place. I finished my workout and said to myself Catarina it is! Showered up, got dressed, and drove over. Place was about to close and got here around 8:30ish. There were 3 people i side ordering. Checked out the menu while i waited and knew what I wanted. Staff was friendly and asked what I wanted. I ordered a street taco plate and a taco birria plate. Got to compliment location. This place was super clean and well kept. Got my order pretty fast. Got home and feasted. Let me tell you the food was fantastic. Both plates were stuffed with meat paid about 20ish bucks but well worth it. Flavors were on point, and the corn tortillas looked homemade. You can also buy flour and corn tortillas to go as well as pastries. -Business cleanliness 10 outa 10 -Menu selection 10 outa 10 -Staff 10 outa 10 just cause I went late and they were still nice. -Street taco plate 10 outa 10 stuffed with fajita -Birria taco plate 9 outa 10 only cause it was 2 tacos only, but consome was good. This place is a must visit. I will definitely be back and actually eat here at a table. They offer free chips for dine in.

Easily the best quesabirria tacos that I’ve ever had in my LIFE! We decided to take home some tamales, fresh made tortillas, and tostadas. The owner was also so sweet and kind to us and we can’t wait to come back and try more items off of the menu!Food: 5/5

Ordered the tortilla soup. It was so greasy, it had a thick layer of oil sitting on top. Had to stir it each time I wanted to eat it. Tres leches cake was dry. Also tried their mole. The mole sauce was so salty I couldn’t even eat my plate. Ordered all this at the drive thru window and it took over 20 minutes. Wouldn’t go back.Food: 1/5

Im so glad I came across a tiktok from the owners daughter! I knew I had to stop by and support this small family owned business! The food is incredible, made fresh every day! The desserts panaderia is also delicious. And to top it off the people are so welcoming and friendly! Definitely recommend this place, they also have a drive-thru if you rather stay in your car. But the inside is lovely as well!

First timer today, and man, was I happy leaving after the great tacos. The service was great and good was authentic. Salsa on point and charra beans were out of this world. A must try!Food: 5/5
