The Catskill Police Department is a 24-hour Law enforcment agency that provides a strong Police presence in the Community charged with the task of enforcing the laws that govern the Village of Catskill and the State of New York.
The mission of the Catskill Police Department is to safeguard life and property,
provide safe neighborhoods, reduce crime and fear of crime, make possible safe
roadways and to be aware of and respond to the needs of the community in order
to improve the overall quality of life. As an integral part of the community, the
Department strives to maximize community involvement to to instill the confidence
of the community in the Department to fulfill its mission, goals and objectives.
