I only use the gym so I cannot comment on the pool. Gym is OK but nothing to write home about. The equipment is lacking..........I.E. , I have never seen a gym without a preacher curl bench OR a vertical leg press until now they have an ultra lame cable machine in it's place, which is horrible and they really do not have an excuse because some of the equipment there are basically boat anchors which hardly anyone uses. Other than that , the atmosphere is pretty quiet , with the occasional gym member disregarding the signs which say " take your phone conversation outside" . Another problem within the gym is how they have used the space in the free weights section. Anyone that frequents this gym and uses this section, understands what I mean. Very poorly thought out space planning. 2 benches are only inches away from the dumbell racks, making it impossible to access the dumbells if someone is using those benches and usually someone IS. There should be a sign posted which states that the benches must be kept away from the racks. Which brings up another, why are all the racks all jumbled in one place, forcing access only at one point? this not how it's done. You put one on one side of the free weights section and one on another side so EVERYONE can have access all the time. Common sense. Being opened 5 days a week is another first. Never have seen a gym that wasn't open atleast 6 days a week. NEVER. Until now. If you have a 6 day routine where you must train each muscle group 2x a week, you are up the proverbial creek.Totally unacceptable.
Today I went with my daughter and grandsons to check out CRC. The swimming was a great time. Kelly was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was impressed with lifeguards willingness to work with the boys. Needless to say we have membership.
Awesome gym. All of the amenities you could want. At 77 y.o. it's my daily routine. Friendly staff, and lots of nice people. The pool is awesome and very clean.
Absolutely love this place. Great staff. Very clean. And everyone patrons included are respectful and amiable.
It's the best place in town!!! Because it's the only place, not only in town but for about 45 min.s away. The facility is way over priced for the amount they actually have to offer. The staff is unfriendedly, the equipment often outdated and overall selection is mediocre at best. Even the highlgiht of the center, the pool, is surprisingly shallow and cuts laps short. While the locker rooms are clean, I don't personally believe that's the best thing that should be said about a place you pay $35 a month for to stay in shape.
What a gem! In the middle of nowhere but 2 miles from me. Wonderful public facility. Huge, heated indoor pool. Lots of exercise equipment. Classes. Use this place so we don't lose it. Thanks to the Gould family.
Great addition to the area. Pool area is great. An area for laps and free swim as well as a zero entry pool. Could use a little more free weights. But a great deal for the price. Staff was very friendly!
A friend of mine wrote a negative review on this place and it disappeared overnight. Don't trust the reviews and don't trust the toxic staff here.
Perfect in every way. Friendly people, professional, clean and a great location! They offer a lot for families as well as individuals
